Okay, last monday (06.09.10) night my bt andline and bt broadband stopped working. After several calls to their helpful service I was told it would be repaired and service would resume on Friday the 10th. It did not happen, cut a long story short ,yesterday I was told by Mohammed that the exchange cable was damaged and I will definatetly have service at the latest twomorrow (15.09.10). So who can I contact regarding a goodwill gesture, Im not looking for hundreds of pounds ,I just want a small token of appreciation for my patience, like no line rental or something for a month or two. Do you think I have some sort of redress or am I better just sweeping it away and putting it down to bad luck......
Thanks.....

I doubt it's even worth the bother.

Well I still have no landline/broadband yet, further calls to (ha,ha) customer help desk results in the same old apologies and that the engineering help desk are going to repair it but they cant tell me when......I asked to speak to this so called helpdesk but Mohammed says the public cannot have this facility, mmm sounds like bt dont deal with slightly irate customers who are only wanting some sort of timescale as to when the service I am paying for is to resume.. So we are now approaching the 2 week mark ( this evening at 21'30 hrs) without a phone and I am starting to lose faith in bt rapidly........... Any suggestions or does anyone know where I can go to near Glasgow where I can express my dissatisfaction at a someone who will listen .

Got my landline back on wednesday just out of interest for anyone who wondered if bt do resolve problems. Seems like a complete apathy on this landline thread, in fact I wonder why I bothered posting it in the first place.
