it depends what you want form a pet

they are fascinating to watch, the way they move, eat and then when they shed their skins

watching them grow and go about their daily business can be a joy to watch

handling them is like handling any other small pet which climbs and hides

^^ I get this from my Geckos. Have you ever had trouble with your snake trying to get out?

yes, yes i have, she did manage it one day over Christmas when i was distracted, but she didn't get far thankfully

entirely my fault for not closing her viv properly

my blokes snake is currently missing in his house after she escaped back in november
her set up wasn't ideal and the local reptile shop had delayed delivering her new, more secure vivarium, in the mean time, she'd scarpered, so now he's sat with an empty viv :/

Oh no poor him i have heard they are buggers for that! When ever i have been on a reptile forum, i've seen people asking about how to find them or geckos. & actually crickets

One of my geckos nearly escaped when my hubby left the door open on the viv a little. My female decided to try & nudge it open with her nose, but i saw her before she widened it!!

My male gecko, always comes over for a nose when i give them food & water. If he had have the chance he'd be out, but he'd fall from a bloody good hight if he did lol
