I was under the impression that Rachel and Dave had made it clear to him what Ben had been saying. JJ1 did too. Of course, seeing it yourself woudl be worse.

So his nom was not entirely truthful then. Okay.

I just wish that given that they did have good times as well as bad, that Mario could let it lie now. It's not helpful to either of them for him to keep sniping anymore. Like I say, it's understandable when he first found out. But to keep on now, yes I know it was in response to something, but still, if he keeps it up it is going to look increasingly odd and wont reflect well on him. I think he should just let sleeping dogs lie. Or, if it would help settle things, have it out in person with Ben.

Combat, I'd have loved to have seen Mario interacting with Nick, Vick and Preston in the BB house. What a wasted opportunity on BB's part it was not to replace Josie with Mario after she walked lol.

I'd have been curious to see how he'd have gotten on with, or not as the case may be, with Nicky too.

In his defence though, it dosnet help if people keep twittering to him abouit ben all the time. I know he can ignore them, but some people on twitter can be selfish. I wish people would jsut leave them both alone. Ben has what ever hes doing now and mario is constrating on finishing a fashion collection.

To be fair, they all said the same thing. And for some reason whenever Ben tried to comfort Mario he'd get shrugged off and ignored. I remember one Friday Mario had comforted Ben, the next day Ben tried to do the same thing for Mario, but he basically told him to shove off. Ben said that he wanted to be there for him like he'd been there for him, but Mario wasn't having any of it. It's not all black and white. Even JJ1 said to Mario that he was taking his frustrations with the experience out on Ben, and JJ1 was hardly a fan of Ben's was he. I do think Ben just couldn't work Mario out a lot of the time. He'd even follow him around asking what was wrong, but Mario wouldn't explain. One's frustration led to b*tching, the other's led to a nomination. Sad really, their friendship had such potential.

Agreed Leatherface. Mario has the right to be friends with whomever he wants. I know a lot of people enjoyed the spark that was there in the early days between Mario and Ben but that was then and, yes, they should both be allowed to move on now and not be continually questioned about it.

But Non of them knew why he was upset and I can see where Mario was coming from that week as he had to ignore what he thought was his grandfather and everyone was ****ing up the task by spoiling it.. look at bloody dave and his wife.

Maybe mario is one of them people who dont want people to help him, He even said himself he wanted time to himself once and a while.

Duryea, I do agree that their friendship did have potential, but unfortunately Ben hooked up far too closely with Dave who I think was a very clever gameplayer indeed. A real shame that Ben is clearly not a good judge of character imo. Mario was a far better friend to Ben than Dave ever was, but there you go it's a fact of real life that friendships come and go and people don't always choose their friends wisely lol.

Yep, I've said it before and I'll say it again, Dave's the one who really deserves the hate, not Ben or Mario.

I think that this is right ... Mario was actually a far better friend to Ben than Dave ever was (though heaven knows this is not very saying much!) ... and Ben might THINK that he is a good judge of character but Ben is probably a bit deluded ... but he always speaks kindly of Mario in his radio interviews and says that though maybe the friendship does not seem destined to continue for a lifetime he does remember the good times with some affection ... let us just hope that Mario will take the same attitude soon ... because I think all the people who like one or both of them will be happy to see that sort of rapprochement ... I for one am looking forward to it ...

Dave was indeed a source of a lot of hypocrisy and misinformation in that house ... not an attractive character ... he certainly turned on Mario in those last days just as he had previously turned on Ben ... Mario was astute enough to catch on to what was happening and did not like what he saw ... Ben took far far longer ... even when it was all pointed out to him he was still willing to be way too forgiving towards that meddling mad monk ... evil seeds were definitely planted ... it is all rather a shame ... Dave thus manipulated his way to second place ... but still no one wants to remember him now that it is all over and the truth is out ... that is ironic ... I suppose that it will serve as a sort of well deserved punishment ...

That is true, but on the other hand, Mario explained Ben several times, that he does not like to involve others when he is in a sad or bad state of mind.
Some people are like that, they are really good in comforting others, but just don't want to be hugged when they feel bad themselves

But Mario hasent said anyhting really nasty about ben, hes wished him all the best look, he jsut dosent want to be friends with him. Lets jsut leave it at that, wish people would stop messageing him about ben now.

I think Ben's fans are bothered by Mario saying stuff like "he only loves his career and himself" etc. It's understandable, we'd be annoyed if Ben was making comments about Mario!

But I agree, this doesn't need to be gone over repeatedly. But the people messaging him on Twitter aren't from the Ben AT, there's not much we can do about it.

Saying you don't want to be friends is sad ... I think a lot of us who like more than one person would just like it if the animosity would blow over and people who once thought they had the potential to like each other could find that they could be friends again ... I for one am waiting for that moment ...

Who knows if they will be friends again?

You could be right ... you probably are ... but to say that you are 'not wanting to be friends' with someone is a little nasty ... think I was just wanting the nastiness not to be there any more ... that is always better ... for both parties ...

Ben does not seem to be holding grudges ... I am so looking forward to the day (soon?) when Mario is not either ...

I hate people like that, I mean theirs being bitchy and then theres being spiteful, and Ben said some hurtful things about mario behind his back, so of course hes going to be upset by it.

I think that the silent staring and sulking and all that other stuff was way more difficult to handle actually ... certainly at the very least equally so ... because it is so unusual ... not quite normal or understandable ... so I still say it is best all round to have some equal and opposite reconciliation ... this situation was absolutely not a one sided one ... most people who watched it know that ... I still have faith ...

I loved it when Mario finally twigged what a dreadful hypocrite Ben was and started reacting to him accordingly. I am not a Josie supporter and I voted to get Ben out. Mario was a good friend to Ben but he was not worthy of him and I was relieved to see him evicted. All this talk of Mario and Ben being great friends is a myth. I remember posting very early on about Ben bitching about Mario as soon as his back was turned. Mario thought he fancied Ben because he reminded him of someone on the outside. As time went on he rumbled what a boring, bitching nasty of piece of work he was, that's why Mario put him up. That's why Mario wants nothing more to do with him.

Of course he is now speaking well of Mario as he doesn't see him as a threat to his so-called career. In the house he was more worried about how he was coming across, and in spite of his ultra-camp foppish persona, he was at pains to appear more interested in the ladies. But his main resentment of Mario was that he was at ease and popular with what Ben referred to as the 'cool group', i.e. John James and Josie. He told Dave in the (serpents) nest that Mario was in the cool group and it left him and Dave out on their own.

Anyway, good luck to Ben and his fans - just keep out of Mario's appreciation thread and we'll keep out of Ben's. I'm fed up with friendly posts from Ben fans appearing here and then seeing spiteful comments made by the same poster about Mario two minutes later over on Ben's A.T. You know who you are. Big Brother is watching you.
