Storyline idea for next year:
The Doctor finds where he thinks there's hidden alien technology, but when he tries to open the door, he gets electrocuted and knocked out. When he wakes up, his eyes have been stitched shut and he's in a room with barbed wire strung across it and rusty nails sticking out of the walls.

Damn, I knew there was something I wanted to watch this weekend, I was quite curious about that even though its about Corrie, probably because it was the Beeb that produced it

I didn't know they were thinking of doing Doctor Who After Dark

I couldn't give two hoots about "Coronation Street" but I downloaded that yesterday and really enjoyed it. I've loved a lot of BBC4's TV dramas like "Fear of Fanny", etc.

They already do, it's Torchwood.

"Fear of Fanny" was a 2002 docu-drama about Fanny Craddock, a TV celebrity cook-cum-dragon, who reigned from the 50s to the 70s. You've got a dirty mind!

While we're here, what's with all the Doctor Who-meets-Hellraiser posts you've been giving us??? Have you got a Death Row pen pal or something?

It was just one post today, the one about crunching noises on regeneration scenes doesn't count because they had that in the movie. (Unless you don't just mean in the Inn! )
That reminds me, someone I talk to on another forum was going to do a crossover story with Doctor Who and Hellraiser, but then he said he got writers block and stopped doing it.
PS: Of course I don't have a death row pen pal, I'm not a 40-year-old divorced American!

I may have been referring to your suggested new direction for Sarah Jane...

I love the Hellraiser movies - I've got my eye on an 18" talking Pinhead but I can't really justify more plastic nonsense. I've got an Alien, a 12" Judoon and a talking V from "V for Vendetta" within eyesight as I type!

How do I know you're not really Darlene-May Cooter from Kentucky?

I love horror films too, I'm downloading Wrong Turn (both of them) at the moment. BTW, Saw 3D is out at the end of next month, and there just happens to be a cinema right by where I go to my job-finding course.
Whatever do your family say about all that stuff?

Well I was going to say because America has a different time zone and I'd be on in the middle of the night, but probably not a good example!

I love horror films with almost the same passion as I love Doctor Who. I'm a huge zombie fan - I've spent a lot of time and money collecting all sorts of obscure films!

I'm not so keen on the "Saw" series but I liked the "Wrong Turn" films - I generally prefer monsters and other nasties to be doing the bad stuff. Mind you, I've got hundreds and hundreds of horror films and plenty of them don't feature "monsters" so... who knows. Maybe it's big budget American movies I'm not so keen on?

I've got my own place so no-one's opinion counts apart from mine! The house isn't littered with memorabilia - V's on the TV, the Alien's on a bookcase, the Judoon's on a speaker, a 12" Davros is on a large table in the corner and there are four TARDISes of various sizes scattered about along with a few Doctor Who figures and a Venom from Spiderman flipping the bird! The odd figures like the Alien (and his see-through head and snapping jaws) always get visitors talking.

I like some Horror Films. I love the Psycho movies, the Scream Trilogy and I Know What You Did Last Summer Trilogy as well. I did used to like Final Destination films but gone off them. Saw was okay upto Saw 3 but has gone downhill since.

Strangely I don't like horror films except for those old fashioned Hammer horror type things. I don't mind being a bit scared but I'm not a big fan of violence really. I can stand some comic violence like Running Man but generally horror and violence aren't my thing.
Mind you I like Vampires and stuff like that she says as she is watching Angel at this moment.

"Psycho", yes, the sequels... not so much! I've only seen "Scream" and none of the "What You Did..." or "Final Destination" films. I think I'm a bit of a snob - I'll turn my nose up at an American mainstream horror but jump up and down if it's a European Indie!

BTW - I can't see any of the pictures Hammy's leaving you, either.

Was it you I spoke to about Angel a few weeks ago? If so, where are you upto now?
