Home hub - calls

Hi,

I wondered if someone can tell me what I need (Home hub phone or normal phone) to connect to my Home Hub to alloe me to make & recieve Broadband talk calls as well as my normal landline calls.

I think you can have either, but have to get Broadband calls activated.
If you sign up to option 3 you get the Hub phone which you get a new number just for that phone so you sort of have 2 phone lines.

First you need to sign up to BT Broadband Talk. (It's free.) That will get you a second number for the BT Home Hub. You can even ask for the number to be 'local' e.g. 01256 for Basingstoke.

Next you need a phone that is connected to the Home Hub. You can either plug one into the HH's Phone Socket or you can use a BT Hub Phone or a DECT phone. If you can squeeze a free Hub Phone out of BT then all well and good. Otherwise you can use any old DECT phone that you have laying around. (I posted a how to years ago. I hope that it is still here.)
