Rachel strikes me as someone who studied the game endlessly before she went in, and had a fairly decent understanding of what worked and what didnt - then went into the house, and did pretty much the exact opposite of what she should have.
Its almost as if she is saying the things she thinks she should be saying, but isnt following through. Id have much more respect for her as a player if she said "im voting for Lane because I like you more" rather than lying and giving a more respectable reason that doesnt apply for him. ![]() She thought the Bragade (not Brigade ) got to the F3 due to luck? The only thing lucky about it was that the producers put 2 people stupid enough to isolate themselves from the group and try and take on the rest of the house by themselves in there. She said the guy who has won the same amount of HoH's as her showmance combined isn't a competitor?? That was just plain stupid She, along with others it has to be said, didn't grasp the difference between playing a great game to get to the end, like Enzo and Lane did, and playing a game to win the $500k. The most annoying thing for me though is that she spent the entire game talking about competitors and then at the end voted for the competitor to lose. For no obvious reason as well. Hayden played the better social game and destroyed Lane at the competitions/strategizing/jury speech. Britney is the only person who could have voted for Lane to win without looking like an idiot. |

Lane's performance infront of the Jury has to be the worst ever in the history of Reality tv?

The most shocking thing is that he had Brenchel's votes in the bag whatever he did. A good performance infront of the jury and he might have even won

All Lane had to do was say "Yes, I would have taken you to the final if I won HOH" in reply to Enzo's final question and he would have won since Enzo was the swing vote, but he even messed that up! I think he really let his nerves get to him because after the jury questions he seemed more relaxed during the show.

Rachel probably did watch more past seasons of the show than the majority of the house but I don't think she really understood anything more complex than 'winning a competition means you're safe for that week'. She certainly didn't understand any of the subtleties of the game or just how important the social side is.
She thought the Bragade (not Brigade ) got to the F3 due to luck? The only thing lucky about it was that the producers put 2 people stupid enough to isolate themselves from the group and try and take on the rest of the house by themselves in there. Hayden played the better social game and destroyed Lane at the competitions/strategizing/jury speech. Britney is the only person who could have voted for Lane to win without looking like an idiot. I was a bit annoyed when Rachel put it down to luck too. The only luck the Brigade got was that Rachel herself was far to intent on hating other girls to notice them in her HoH weeks, and that Matt got the Diamond Veto that spared him for a single week. I think Rachel has got some serious resentment for the way she and Brendon got targeted in the game while other pairs and groups didnt. I honestly think her vote for Lane came in part due to a resentment of Hayden being able to have a showmance and not be targetted while she couldnt. I mean seriously - note to Rachel! The Brigade won all bar four HoH competitions in the game, impressive when you consider Enzo sucks at competitions, and Lane was only marginally better. When you consider that Britney considered herself part of the Brigade's group, the only times the Brigade ever could have gone home were the weeks when Rachel and her man were in the HoH room. That's not luck, thats poor gameplay on Brenchel's part, and smart gameplay on the Brigades. I'll never be convinced of Enzo's value in the game or in his alliance. Bringing a group together isnt a good move when it ultimately turns on you and votes you out. Whilst its arguable that the Brigade was his brainchild, that in itself seriously doesnt make you a great player. Enzo, and to a degree Lane relied on their alliance for everything, and seriously would have been screwed if Hayden had gone home at any point - and even Lane had the sense to find a side alliance in case things went wrong. Enzo's game was solely to get to the final four, and later three when Hayden made his move. I can respect Hayden as a player. He basically did what Enzo failed to do - remain popular with everyone, but at the same time keep his eyes on the prize. Unlike his allies, I dont think Hayden would ever have been content with a place in the final three with a chance at the final HoH. He was always actively thinking about the prize, and that in itself made him the worthy winner. |

Lane really went to pieces in the jury questions, and credit to him, Hayden really excelled at it. One of the best jury questioning sessions in ages. Again, I still hate Hayden though.
