Simple question really.

How do you eat them?

I usually nibble off the sides (where it curves down) then use my front teeth to peel off the chocolate, I eat the cake part and then I nibble the orange.

or

I just shove the whole thing in my mouth.

I pick the orange bit off and chuck it away and eat the other bit.

If you were to put a box of jaffa cakes in front of me I'd finish the whole lot off in 2 or 3 minutes.

That's why I don't eat them.

I also nibble all around the edge then I put the nibbled cake into my mouth and prise the orangey bit off the sponge with my tongue. I let the sponge melt away, then remove the chocolate from the orangey bit and eat that past last.

You should see the mess I get in with a Twix.

Press in the middle, piggle off all the chocolate, peel off the orange, eat the sponge by dipping in cold milk and eat all the orange jellies together after I've dunked all the sponges from the pack.

Or one for me, one for the dog, nosh nosh gone.

My dad did that once, he bought a box one evening and when I went downstairs the next morning I discovered the box was empty!

I turn 'em upside down (so that the chocolate bit doesn't stick to the roof of the mouth) and scoff the lot in a minute flat.

Put the Twix in the fridge or freezer so it does not melt so soon.

I nibble round the edges so that it is no longer sealed, and then eat the jelly slice and the chocolate, and then eat the sponge! x

Are they actually supposed to last longer than that?

I think I may be starting to understand my waistline...

I eat the chocolate, then peel the sponge and the jaffer apart, eat the sponge, then let the jaffer sit on my tounge before swallowing it.

I eat round the edge first, then nibble off the remaining chocolate, place orange bit on tongue and leave it to dissolve and then finally eat the sponge.

I bite off about a quarter at first, then bite off from other sides so as to get a similar amount of the orange stuff in each. Jaffa Cakes rock, and I can get through them very quickly.

It's not the melting that's the problem.

I bite all around the edge of the Twix, then pull the caramel off and eat that before scraping the chocolate off the bottom of the biscuit with my teeth so all I'm left with is a shortcake type biscuit.

Then I do it all again with the 2nd finger.

Freezing it would make the caramel too hard to get away from the base.

I eat twixs like that as well. I also do it with mars bars - choclate off first, top, then middle, then bottom - its quite hard to do though.

Bite them (half at a time) or whole depending on how I feel.

I feel ill reading about the disassemblers methods. I really loathe people eating like that (sorry)

Yup, I do try to do that with Mars bars too, although I haven't had one for ages. I think the last Mars I had was a mini one from a tub of Celebrations but they're easy to eat that way.
