Apologies if this has been discussed before, but does anybody else think that Brian's demotion and demise from the show was engineered by Len Goodman?
Here we have a world-class dancer and teacher whose services were deemed not suitable for a third appearance on SCD - and is mysteriously replaced by some unknowns. Who would make such a decision? Not a BBC exec who knows nothing about ballroom dancing, and not a BBC producer who would make a decision against the wishes of head-judge Len.
Brian had the brains and ability (and audacity) to go it alone with Dancing on Wheels and picked a judging panel that did not include Len nor, presumably, involved him in any part of the show's production. Coincidence?? I think not. Anybody who thinks Brian's replacement was a random decision should think again.
