No, but I'd like just a little bit more than four minutes of group dancing before I do. Is that you Arlene?

Robin did not have Visa problems and as I understand both he and Artem left BTF early to be ready for SCD. They finished up BTF the first week in August to be ready for SCD. Brian did the entire run of BTF.”

I was talking about Artem there not Robin - didn't word that bit well though. I didn't realise that Artem and Robin left so early.

I just always wonder if Brian had already decided that he was leaving before they made the changes. I didn't think he was superman or anything or that he could work all day on Strictly and then work on night on BTF.

Yes, I was surprised they (Artem and Robin) left so early because I remember interview with Robin where he said he hoped he could finish the show in London. Guess it was not meant to be.

I don't think we will ever know about Brian deciding to leave before the changes. As I recall he was doing the SCD tour and rehearsing BTF at the same time. He must have been worn out those weeks.

Just to correct this (bit late I know. Sorry.)

Burn The Floor has indeed now gone on tour in the USA.

Brian and Ali have not gone with it. They did the London stint only.

did Ali and Brian not finish BTF before the start of Strictly so he could have done both?? I thought that Artem and Robin only left early due to visa problems and that they had to get used to a new pro partner.”

Robin didn't have visa problems because he is English; Artem did have to get his visa sorted. Both had been in BTF for some years, were offered scd and decided on the change.

Only the London showing of Burn the Floor finishes before strictly starts; it then carries on - with Brian in it - in America.

I was talking just about Artem, I know Robin is English - as I said in an earlier post I just worded that bit badly.

And when I was talking about BTF finishing I meant the West End Version not the show altogether. I didn't know Brian was still with the show.

He isn't. He's in Philadelphia for a holiday with his family. BTF is in Seattle. Bit of a commute.

I think they got 2 new American dancers in to 'guest star' for the US leg.

Yes, I should get out more.

Yes, I think they brought in Pasha Kovalev and Anya Garnis who had been with the BTF before and had done the Broadway run. Brian and Ali are definitely not in the US tour. I believe Brian is in US now with his family. Robin was the "swing" dancer of BTF so I imagine they replaced him with another dancer who could learn all the parts and take over when necessary.
