Hi all ... I have only just installed the Humax HD unit and have recorded two films but I have lost the last few minsof both .... is there anyway I can extend the start and end time without going into the manual record. On my old Virgin box I could change both the start time and end time but I cannot see how to do this on the Hummy. Please make replies simple and in step fashion as I am a golden oldie and a bit slow.

Take care all.... Lordly

Select the program in the schedule and press the yellow button.

Three ways

The first one allows series recording but turns off Accurate Recording (Auto Padding)

Menu/Settings/Recording. Change the Recording start time and end time to the padding you want

The second converts the series recording to a manual one - you can set a repeat pattern like daily, weekly etc

Press schedule and locate the recording you want to edit, press yellow and change the start and end times to whatever you want and select a repeat pattern if you wish

The third is enter a manual recording reservation

Press schedule, press the up key once to move to the spare blank reservation at the end of the list. Press yellow and enter your own data
