Hi I wanted to buy a humax freesat hd pvr many months ago but was put off because there was no timer in the non freesat side of the box( not even a manual one) .Did they ever do a software update and put a timer in???

No it's the same as it was, you have to start recording manually but you can set a auto recording duration

Thank you fot the reply Graham but without a timer it is of no use to me which is a pity as it is such a nice box.I cant understand why Humax have not done a s/w upgrade as everything is there on the menu but greyed out
