They're saying it's pushed back because she's back in the studio. Doesn't sound good.

Now she's gone back to the studio AGAIN, and the single is pushed back one week. According to those people, the pushback is planned, so I'm thinking that she's landed a slot on X Factor and releasing it this week would be too early for that to work properly...

That's all fine but, my problem is why hasn't this been communicated TO THE FANS?! We still have no idea what is going on, or when the single is really released...

This is disgusting treatment to be honest, we are the ones who spend our money on her stuff, so the least she could do is let us know what the f*** is going on...ridiculous

Exactly. That's what angers me about the whole situation. Not the waiting, but the lack of information.

Of course this is frustrating to say the least, but I think that Alex will make a big deal of the radio première on Twitter so when it is really coming we will know for sure.

At the end of the day I'm sure Alex would have liked to have had new music out months ago but ultimately it's up to RCA.

I think it's far too early to write them off though.
Sure there have been delays but I would rather get a killer single and album than something which was rushed. The single must have needed tweaking so hopefully we'll be hearing it within the week.

Dying to hear it, and looking forward to seeing new artwork and hopefully getting seem album news. Wonder if we'll get it right after the single?

To be fair, saying Sept 5th was the first date we heard directly from her.

The guy from CBBC saying "ten day's time" might not have been a direct quote from her.

She keeps saying "soon" which is frustrating because it is so vague but it really can't be much longer!

I understand things do get delayed but even if it has been AGAIN... then out of decency she should just tweet 'its been moved from the 5th sep to a later date but it's still coming' or something along the lines

Also it is a bit worrying if they are still making changes to the lead single - i mean seriously!!! - I have heard to many times that it will be delayed until such and such, I have no faith in when we get it, i am not going to believe anything until we actually hear it.

This just makes me more worried for the era, as she could end up getting lost in the crazy november month when everyone and their aunt is releasing! Does not bode well for the era, i mean it doesn't exactly inspire confidence if they are going to be making tweaks to the lead single this late in the day, I wonder if they have had feedback on it?

It's almost definitely not premiering tonight now. Leona had announced the single title by now, so I don't think that she's even going for a premiere in that style...

It's not like they are going to be making changes to the melody or lyrical content (I would presume). They have to get the vocals, production, ad libs etc perfect. Presumably they picked a song which was chosen very late in the day. I doubt they would have had any feedback other than perhaps RCA people and Alex herself said she wasn't happy with how the first mix sounded.

She just tweeted happy birthday to beyonce from a computer . I just tweeted her asking if it's been delayed again ,a large amount of people have done so.

your telling me she hasn't seen some fans on twitter getting wound and annoyed by the fact she hasn't let us know anything... yet she can tweet happy birthday b, gurl please!

People need to take a deep breath and calm down. No need to harrass Alex about this. She's more interactive with her fans than many artists, and some people here are starting to take that for granted and devolping a slightlyn unbecoming sense of entitlement.

I will always support Alex, so i'm happy to wait a week. i know it will be worth it! some of the people on twitter need to calm down being mad at Alex is not gonna help, it might not even be her fault!!
