Is it safe to now say that this album will be more RnB than "bubblegum pop" because if it is I am EXCITED!!! Every song on Overcome which was leaning towards RnB was epic!

I knew they were still looking for a single. According to Rico's twitter, he's been working frequently with StarGate & Sandy Vee for the past few months. Wouldn't surprise me if one of them have produced the song Alex is excited about.

Hopefully, they won't wait too long for an official single announcement.

I doubt they were still looking for a single. I'd say she's almost finishing recording the album and so Syco began picking the first single from everything she's recorded. Things are getting exciting!!

I'm hoping for something more striking. Think Loud's cover art.

Maybe the album art can be a painting like KP's Teenage Dream artwork?

Personally I didn't like the Loud cover art, but I'll be happy if she doesnt take any ideas from Lady GaGa on cover art!

Beyonce does artwork really well, the cover for the single was amazing

I was rushing to get to work early this morning while watching this so i don't remember everything, but there's a snippet of a song right at the start, the album will not be out in the summer and there's going to be a strong push to get things going in the US.

Hopefully we'll get two singles before that?

sounded good but it was only an album track, she comfirmed that... she said NO its not the first single, its just an album track.

and rico love said fans aren't gonna be dissapointed for lead single, he said its 'CRAZZZZZZYYY'

The snippet sounded decent, not sure if it would be a good album track but the sound they went for was more mature and a step in the right direction. I've only heard it once but it had a slow, mellow feel to it in terms of the melody...the backdrop was your usual heavy, full sounding synths. The best way to describe it is R&B, tinged pop...and she sounded different. The vocals were lighter, more airy and amazing sounding

There was a male vocal at the start, but it sounded disjointed with Alexandra's part so i'm not sure it was part of the song she was singing. I thought the people who were in the background were just randomly playing stuff. .The production was different and the guy was singing in a higher key

From what I've heard, it sounds like this album will definitely be more mature and urban sounding...something which will be perfect for Alex if she is to break into the US market.

I reckon we'll get a single in the UK by summer, and then a second single and album in the autumn. I reckon she'll launch in the US around autumn, after she's done her UK comeback...

Lets hope the material is up to standard...

It sounded much better than the Overcome leaks to my ears....so i'm expecting the album to be of better quality overall

Very RnB, it sounds a lot like Energy by Keri Hilson...I have a feeling that this era will be very good...

Especially with the 'strong push' in the US...

Ok this is what I think will happen:

UK single release - mid-June/early July (depending on whether it's OA/OS or traditional release)
US single/airplay release - mid-August

Then Alex will be pushing the single up the charts by doing radio tours, minor tv shows etc and if/when the single is starting to properly smash, she'll be on US XF to promote it in October/November.

And around this time (Oct/Nov), the second UK single and the album will be released. The US album will probably be held back to February unless the first single is KILLER.
