Alex said on her last Ustream that she hopes she'll have music released in the US next year. It's either Syco screwing her over or she is being badly advised when it comes to her debut over there. There are British artists like Taio Cruz, Tinie Tempah, Adele and Jessie J who are releasing music in the US and are gaining a lot of attention/success. In my opinion she should release the lead single to her new album in the US to generate some buzz about her. She has the potential to be a huge star, it's a shame her label isn't pushing her to be one.

I'm sure she will release the new single in the States. She'll probably push the new album in the UK/ Ireland and Europe until Christmas and head to America in the New Year. Hopefully "Show Off" with Swizz Beatz will generate some buzz about her too.

I'd say get Alexandra as a featuring artist on some rapper's new single (Pitbull being the likely rapper). Release that in the US at the end of the year to coincide with a XF USA performance. Hopefully it would be a solid hit which would therefore generate some hype around Alex.

Then early 2012, after releasing the second album/lead single in the UK later this year, she starts the US campaign with a commercial lead single and a lot of hype.

That sounds like a brilliant strategy.

I'd like Alex to do an album like Nicole Scherzinger's Killer Love...

Lead Single like 'Don't Hold Your Breath' which is not a cheesy song at all but which shows off her voice and has great airplay.

Plus songs like 'Killer Love, 'Wet', 'Say Yes'.

Great ideas there, but I still believe that she NEEDS to feature on a David Guetta song...That man is a ticket to international recognition...one hit single with him would make cracking the international markets sooo much easier for Alexandra....

She has the voice, and the personality to pull off one of his tracks, and she already knows him, so somebody please make that work!

David Guetta has some great songs (even if they are getting a bit samey). Of course this would be a gateway to recognition internationally.

I would rather she got recognised for her own material rather than featuring on somebody else's though. I think the new material will speak for itself given her talent, and the calibre of people she's working with.

Also Pitbull is a horribly generic rapper. She really needs to keep away from him as he was the worst part of the "All Night Long" release. He could hardly be called talented and his contribution added nothing to the song.

Again, Swizz Beatz has some "street cred", so hopefully that track will be a single.

BB and Hallelujah just won't go away

I just remembered that Cher has wrapped up her video and her album is due in August. Alex has probably been pushed back even further now to accomodate Cher's single release. Mid July should be about right to expect to hear something...she has too many gigs up until then to start the launch of her second era properly. Athough..i suspect plans may have changed and she'll be releasing in Sept/Oct,

I guess we should be thanking her management for sending her out to obsecure festivals with absolutely nothing to promote

I think Syco can handle more than one single release at once.

If not then Alex, Leona, One Direction, Susan Boyle and Matt are all screwed!

They can't release a single without pushbacks, late videos and doing everything in their power to f**k things up

She said the single was meant to be released in April...didn't happen. She also said the album would be out in the summer...now it's coming out Oct/Nov time so i wouldn't be surprised if they launch the album off the back of one single...they're just waiting for the Xfactor to kick things off for all their artists. Syco are too formulaic in their way of thinking to keep up with other labels...they simply lack the expertise.

They are a bit rubbish. I think I'll cry if I have to wait until October/ November to hear new music.

The way she was acting on Twitter/Facebook seemed to suggest we'd be hearing something soon-ish though. I wish somebody in the know would let us fans know what the plan is.

Last time SyCo got hacked, we got 2 future album tracks...and Leona's stuff leaked first, then Alexandra's so who knows...

I really came here to say, what the f**k is Alexandra's management doing? I mean seriously, having her perform at remote racecourses that no-one cares about, and appearing in places when she has nothing new to promote...

I know they are just trying to keep her name out there, but why isn't she instead releasing a book, or featuring on more singles...a Tinie Tempah or Chipmunk collaboration would have been more than enough...not one feature on an american rappers album which has been delayed by a year already...

Whoever they are, they suck...

I highly doubt they got hacked again. That snippet is very low quality. Cher's single will be out soon, I imagine it's a rip from a promo CD.

Fair enough, if they did get hacked again, then they are completely incompetent.
