Nu-Who / Old-Who Time Warp

Which stories from Old-Who do you think would tranlsate to Nu-Who and vice-versa?

I think the old shorter stories such as the Sontaran Experiment would work really well in the new format.

Transposing the other way somehow seems a bit more different. The two parters are the obvious choice here but I think last season's finale would really have benefited from having the impossibly thick plotline a little more time to unravel.

for me 'The Sontaran Experiment' was the best ever story as a child... The modern Sontarans don't quite capture the essence in the same way.

I have to say though... why oh why were the Sontarans experimenting on the only 5 humans on the planet in order to see if it was worth invading... ha ha very odd

My personal theory is that Styre just didn't like South Africans.
