Ian's comment on his blog would suggest that he's got at least the potential to return...see other thread for this.

If it's a DWTS-style deal where they swap the pros in and out of the troupe, then I'd have thought this would be a pro rather than a con over time.

I suppose the question then becomes, did the producers make this part of proceedings clear when they put the deal to the troupe members in the first place? Or have they just realised they've stuffed up, and are now opening the door back up for the well-loved pros to return?

Reading this thread has just brought back to me how much I'm going to miss Ian proving year after year just because a female celebrity is tall doesn't mean she can't jive.
