Thanks Ian, look forward to seeing that.
Here is a live version of Get Happy with just a piano backing. I think I prefer this version to the recorded one, her vocals sound great.
Quote: “GET HAPPY! How could you not after hearing X factor's Rebecca Ferguson's sensational acoustic version of Get Happy from new album Lady Sings The Blues?”
Quote: “Rebecca Ferguson has proudly stripped off to reveal her post-baby bikini body - while also defending her natural curves.
Former X Factor finalist Rebecca gave birth to her third child, daughter Arabella, in October and yesterday she donned a swimsuit before taking a selfie.”

Quote: “New! She may have been runner-up on The X Factor but soulful songstress Rebecca Ferguson is a winner on the world stage now, as Neil McCormick discovers.”

Great news about the new RCA deal, thanks manderley.

Quote: “Rebecca Ferguson planned to celebrate the centenary of Billie Holiday's birth by re-interpreting some of her biggest songs. But the project took on personal significance after the singer had a "year of loss and sadness".”
Quote: “Being the loser on X Factor is always a good career move. In the case of Rebecca Ferguson from Liverpool, it's probably been the best thing that's happened to her.”
very negative review follows
Quote: “While Ferguson gamely gives this her best shot, her voice seems a bit lightweight. Get Happy is more Hi-de-Hi than Harlem...
...Ferguson falls into the Ronan Keating trap of over-egging the sibilance and effecting a cheap cabaret singer growl in places.
This crime against taste is most horribly evident on Lover Man...
...(Ferguson) blows it badly with her exaggerated pronunciation.”
Quote: “Speaking in February, she said: “I’m travelling the world, I’ve got three children and shouldn’t have done it. It was a lesson learned. I can do an OK manicure, but I need to stick to singing.””
Thanks for your contributions IanP, that's a pretty awful review from the Herald (Ireland). It seems a bit extreme if you compare it to the well balanced reviews from The Telegraph and Guardian. The album sales seem to be going pretty well. I think Rebecca's fans tend to buy physical copies rather than downloads. It's in the top ten on Amazon.
