Not much change since the last time it was posted:

01 - 16.41m - EASTENDERS (19/02/10) - BBC1
02 - 14.63m - WORLD CUP 2010: ENG V ALG (18/06/10) - ITV1/HD
03 - 13.59m - WORLD CUP 2010: ENG V GER (27/06/10) - BBC1/HD
04 - 13.48m - BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT (05/06/10) - ITV1/HD
05 - 12.45m - THE X FACTOR (21/08/10) - ITV1/HD
06 - 12.27m - DOCTOR WHO (01/01/10) - BBC1/HD
07 - 12.03m - CORONATION STREET (22/02/10) - ITV1
08 - 10.57m - GAVIN AND STACEY (01/01/10) - BBC1/HD
09 - 9.96m - EMMERDALE (14/01/10) - ITV1
10 - 9.82m - A TOUCH OF FROST (05/04/10) - ITV1

11 - 9.68m - THE FIRST ELECTION DEBATE (15/04/10) - ITV1
12 - 9.64m - DANCING ON ICE (10/01/10) - ITV1
13 - 9.23m - SHERLOCK (25/07/10) - BBC1/HD
14 - 8.81m - SILENT WITNESS (07/01/10) - BBC1/HD
15 - 8.73m - BBC NEWS SPECIAL (11/05/10) - BBC1
16 - 8.70m - ROCK & CHIPS (24/01/10) - BBC1/HD
17 - 8.70m - LEWIS (02/05/10) - ITV1/HD
18 - 8.55m - WILD AT HEART (10/01/10) - ITV1
19 - 8.36m - FIVE DAYS (01/03/10) - BBC1
20 - 8.26m - PRIME MINISTERIAL DEBATE (29/04/10) - BBC1/HD/BBC NEWS

Notes:
- Only one World Cup entry per channel.
- A weighted average for the full slot for the World Cup games.
- No duplicates: i.e. no BGT/DOI in there twice.
- HD audience included for all programmes airing on HD.
- Touch of Frost rating ammended so it's for the full slot, not just 68-minutes which BARB did. It would've been in 10th place anyway.
- BBC News audience is included in the BBC's Prime Ministerial Debate rating because it was an exact simulcast of BBC1/HD. If you don't include BBC News, it had 7.64m.

Eeek at My Generation - I liked the look of it too. Grey's and PP doing well, good to see

CBS did well - I see Justin Bieber didn't increase CSI's numbers though . Glad to see the Mentalist get a 3.3.

NBC looks good, I just hope 30 Rock can continue to keep those sort of numbers. But oops at The Apprentice

Both seem to be getting the exact same rating every day for the last two weeks now with Lorraine getting about 100000-200000 extra.

Interesting, considering The Ricky Gervais Show only got just over a million on C4, that performed very well indeed.

Law and Order still struggling a bit. It didn't repeat well on Tuesday nights either, so I think it has to go back to Mondays for the second half of the second batch of 13 episodes..

Regardless of whether the third batch of 13 eps turns out to be the last, they can't allow all those episodes to die on Thursday nights.

My Generation

It'll be interesting to see the week 2 ratings for ##** my dad says and Outsourced, from what i've read they don't seem to have being recieved very well.

Decentish performance for 30 Rock at 8.30.

Well, they're not saying they can't show property stuff, just not all morning, which is a sensible enough strategy. Similarly there's got to be something other than Murder She Wrote on a loop.

As far as I'm concerned, the slot BBC1 need to sort out is 5.15 because when Neighbours went it gave them massive flexibility, but apart from one week of Land Girls and the Blue Peter fiftieth anniversary show, they've shown The Weakest Link there every single afternoon for two and a half years, which is ridiculous, it doesn't even do that well anymore, and you'd think they'd at least try another quiz there just to freshen things up and curb their reliance on it. Even ITV change the quizzes about. I'm not saying they have to axe it but what's the point of showing repeats of it?

The Radio Times pointed out that Seven Days was very similiar to Paddington Green, which is fair enough, and that never did very well for BBC1 either. I do remember it kept on coming back, though, even though it ended up around 11pm, and there was one week when they showed Braveheart before it and it went out at 12.20am, surely the latest slot for any new show in the history of BBC1.

But who cares about a bunch of people in Notting Hill with too much time on their hands?

Doctors deserves that old neighbours slot
It's the best soap on the box and deserves a later slot/repeat

ITV can't prop it up either though by giving over the schedule for three months on Monday nights. They need to make these dramas work any night they're on, and whatever night they'll always be issues. In theory Thursdays is no worse a slot than Mondays for ITV, and they'll always be competition from the BBC whichever night they put things on.

If it isn't working for them on Thursdays I'd say Fridays is the next best option to burn off remaining episodes, rather than commissioning more filler to air when Paul O'Grady isn't on.

Fair enough. I thought you were fiercely loyal to EastEnders, so that's high praise indeed!

It does get an evening repeat on BBC HD by the way.

I am Loyal to EastEnders and have watched right from the early 90's (and watched most of the 80's episodes)
and even stuck with the show throughout the 2004-2006 bad era.
I've watched Doctors since 2003 and think it's getting better and better.

EastEnders is still my Number 1 but think Doctors is better right now i just can't praise the show enough

Plus i fear Bryan Kirkwood is taking EastEnders back to 2004

Yes i usually catch the BBC HD showing(or just record it) due to being at work most days but im worried that when BBCHD1 starts the Doctors 5:30 showing will end and they will just show it in HD at 1:45pm

That's possible, but I think unlikely - because BBC HD will have a lot more room in its schedule when BBC One HD launches. If anything Doctors could find itself in an even better slot.

The Big Bang Theory got off to a great start but I wonder if CBS are considering moving CSI out of Thursday as it's the weak link in their schedule.

Im not so sure.
The BBC doesn't seem to treat Doctors that well
and they have an advert they show but that seems to be on BBCHD only.

Obviously EastEnders will air on BBC1HD and it does on BBC1 and i think they should kick start BBC1HD with EastEnders as it's their biggest programe.
I think going HD should give the BBC a nice change to shake everything about
Bring in some new shows, slot changes and everything

(Maybe have EastEnders air 5 days a week )

Some high profile firings today in the US.

Jeff Zucker, CEO of NBC Universal, has been fired. The bosses at NBC's soon-to-be-owner, Comcast, want to go in a new direction apparently... or perhaps they'd just like a competent executive to lead them in that new direction. He'll stick around until the regulatory hurdles are cleared. Current owner General Electric gave him a handsome 3 year deal just a few months ago so he'll get a very nice payoff. Despite that, I'm sure Conan O'Brien is finding it all very amusing.

Jon Klein, President of CNN, has also been fired. This one is with immediate effect, it seems. They haven't even let him stick around to see how his new primetime schedule performs. Though having presided over 6 years of failure, some might say it's far later than it should have been. They've hired the boss of sister channel HLN - which has recently been beating CNN in primetime quite often. Ken Jautz brought Glenn Beck, Nancy Grace and Joy Behar to cable news.

NBC Universal has had mixed success, the cable unit has been thriving but NBC and Universal Pictures have struggled over the last couple of years but both seem to be on the road to recovery, I guess Comcast wanted fresh blood at the top but I suspect they'll pick someone from their own company.

As Robert Seidman from TVBN says, pretty much a genuis move by CBS to put Big Bang Theory on Thursdays. I know it's early days but it looks like they could be two sitcoms better off than last year, while Survivor is performing strongly on Wednesdays. CBS has had the best start to the season so far - no new shows flopping and their current hits have held up well.

ABC- Another flop for them. I wonder how they're going to replace both The Whole Truth and My Generation? The Dana Delaney show is a cert for one of the spots but what about the other one? Solid for Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, even though the former is 20% down year-on-year. Still can't understand why it's more popular than House though, I've watched both and thought House was so much better.

FOX- Decent for Bones but Fringe seems to be struggling and is too lead-in dependent.

NBC- Pretty good for their comedy lineup overall. I thought Community would sink below 2.0 against TBBT but it performed just as well as last season (if not better), and 30 Rock rated quite similar to last year despite not having an Office lead-in which surprised me. The biggest surprise, though, was how well Outsourced started - this is basically Mumbai Calling, right? And apparently it was terrible too from the reviews I read so despite the good start, I think it'll take a tumble next week. Appaulling for The Apprentice... I just don't get how the Celebrity version manages twice as many viewers!
