ITV3 had a great week. Interesting that E4 didn't see its reach rise that much despite The Inbetweeners with only a 600k improvement here week-on-week. This suggests that over 82% of its audience were already very familiar with E4. Make of that what you will.
Programming that stands out from the multi-channel stations:
The Inbetweeners
4.0m viewers including +1 makes it E4's most watched and one of multi-channel TV's highest rated of all-time. An exceptional performance, increasing on its series 2 premiere by a staggering 150%.
The Road to Coronation Street
This ITV Studios production for BBC Four was well received by viewers and critics alike. Its audience of 1.1m across BBC Four and BBC HD made it the 8th most popular multi-channel broadcast of the week.
Him and Her
New BBC Three comedy Him and Her has got off to a very good start, increasing its audience from 660,000 to 710,000 across its first two episodes.
MasterChef Australia
Watch has found a significant hit here. Occupying 5 of the channel's top 10 highest rated programmes of the week, the show is averaging nearly 200,000 viewers a night includng +1. For a pay TV station this is a significant number for that timeslot, although the hour is still dominated by Sky1's Simpsons on around 500,000 viewers per night.
