Most watched Strictly launch ever. Great start to the series.
Paul O'Grady Live dropped to just 2.62m (11.1%). Hit hard by Strictly.”
Great start for SCD. I was expecting 8m myself.

I think there is a market for a "light" news programme in the morning, but it will probably only ever be getting 15-20% of the audience, no matter what they do to try to boost it.

It will be interesting when the next radio figures come out as I suspect some of the old GMTV viewers will have defected to Chris Moyles or Chris Evans. Daybreak has tried to be that light news programme but has alienated both the viewers who want more news and viewers who want more entertainment.

Some classic crime drama will keep a loyal audience for ITV, and will lead to some consistent primetime scores of 20%-in my opinion, without having a second Corrie.
Paul O'Grady should go back to teatime though. 'Jason Manford Live' would be good on a Thursday 9pm slot, drama suits Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.”
I agree on putting drama repeats on ITV1 on Fridays. Entertainment just isnt working on that night. BBC realised that comedy wasnt working on Fridays so moved it to Thursdays, ITV could so the same.
