A Simpsons repeat second highest rated show of the evening, OMG
Did not see Wedding House, but the trailers look like Don't tell the Bride or Four Weddings, should have shown it on E4!

Look how close MasterChef Professionals and WWTBAM were, a gap of just 0.1m (maybe 0.2m with HD included for the latter)! Holby City rated well yesterday, its highest since pre-summer I think. 71 Degrees North has grown three weeks in a row, albeit at a small rate. Quite decent for FlopZone standards though.

Very poor evening for C4, coming last in primetime, and bottom of the terrestrials in each of the 8-10pm slots. Seven Days has lost 40% of its audience since the premiere two weeks ago. Strong set of ratings for C5.

I think some people are just posting '' at the Seven Days rating for the sake of it. Its held up quite well considering how dire it is.

71 Degrees North is becoming somewhat of a small hit for ITV.

Hmm, don't know about that. From 1.12 (which was poor in itself) to 0.82 to 0.67. I think the message from viewers is 100% clear and if it continues to fall at a similar rate it will drop to around or just below 600k next week which would be disastrous.

As it is last night Film4 almost beat Channel 4 in the 10pm hour with a film that's almost 20 years old! Very, very embarrassing.

I bet their loving it even more - more headlines no doubt tomorrow ( it's most read on the BBC News site) - Simon Cowell's masterplan has worked

“X Factor contestant Gamu faces deportation
An X Factor contestant who narrowly missed out on a place for the live finals of the show is facing removal from the UK.

Gamu Nhengu, who is originally from Zimbabwe, was controversially eliminated from the ITV show on Sunday.

Immigration officials have confirmed that her mother, Nokuthula Ngazana, had been refused permission to stay in the UK after her visa expired in August.

The 18-year-old's family has lived in central Scotland for eight years.

A statement from the UK Border Agency said: "The applications made by Ms Ngazana and her family were considered in line with the published immigration rules.

"Ms Ngazana's application was refused as it did not meet all of the conditions for approval.

"Her family, who had applied as her dependants, were therefore also refused."

On the rating's - not too bad for 71 Degree's, at least it's increasing than decreasing.

Great night for Channel 5. If only something could be done about the 7pm hour. I really wish they had bought Friends when C4 relinquished the rights.

But was anyone expecting it not to fall as much? The general figure thrown around in this thread was 0.7m which it pretty much achieved, so as crap as the figure is, its not as shocking as some people are letting on.

Oh dear again at Channel 4, beaten by Five quite convincingly it has to be said. Solid night for BBC1, if unspectacular at 9pm, but enough to win the slot. MasterChef: The Professionals is turning into a hit for BBC2, so don't be surprised if its yanked over to BBC1 next year - what's the betting, hey? Nearly beat Millionaire though, although it and 71 Degrees North in particular did well by FlopZone standards.

It's quite shocking in context. For example I didn't expect a CSI:NY repeat on 5 to rate over 120% higher. It's a massive turkey Seven Days whatever way you look at it. And it's only going to get worse unless Channel 4 act. I have a horrible feeling they won't though.

71 Degrees North - Ratings
Episode 1 - 4.82m (22.2%)
Episode 2 - 2.97m (12.7%)
Episode 3 - 3.39m (14.5%)
Episode 4 - 3.43m (14.5%)
Episode 5 - 3.46m (15.3%)
Series Average = 3.61m (15.8%)

Note: Millionaire and 71 Degrees North are not on next Tuesday due to England Internationals so don't be surprised if 71 Degrees decreases again in two weeks time.

So a 46k increase [against Panorama ] for 71 degrees since 2 weeks ago makes it a hit now

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the slot that most of the time struggles to get 3m? I'm not saying its a great rating or it deserves to be recommissioned, just that its doing better than most of the other content in the same slot.

Its one of the biggest turkeys in Channel 4's history, I'm not refuting that. But it performed as expected, noone expected the figures to go up after last week so the reaction to that figure is a bit OTT.

I think I'm going to have a fun couple of weeks on here. Eddie Stobart, Cowboy Builders, Rory & Paddy, CSI: Miami and CSI: New York are all rating really well. Five News at 5pm is pulling in its best figures to date. Europa League football is up. Fifth Gear is about to unleash The Stig. Plus there's a MASSIVE Friday coming up for Ch5 next week with Neighbours' 6,000th and the season premiere of The Mentalist.

Apart from the dreaded 90 minutes commencing at 6:30pm, Channel Five is in very good shape right now. As I revealed a few days ago to no comment, the ONLY terrestrial broadcaster currently up year-on-year.

Bordering on delusional comments there. What "overwhelming" response?! I know they're hardly going to say it's doing crap and we wish we hadn't commissioned it, but at least ITV had the decency to stop talking to the press about Daybreak, rather than tell porkie pies. It's not engaging with the viewers at all, and frankly, it's not very good.

This latest comment proves how stubborn C4 are and why I don't think they will move it. They'd rather have 5 more weeks of multi-channel style ratings at 10pm. "At least they are talking about us on Twitter!" Sad.
