But on the plus side it's been nominated for an award already - a little under 2 and a half weeks since it started.

The NTAs become more of a farce every year. I don't think I'll bother with them this time.

In the same category as GMTV . They should have just lumped them together, its pretty much the same show.

Very good night for BBC1 with the soap fillers performing well, EE topping the night, Traffic Cops continuing to shine in its new slot and Spooks getting off to a good start. There does seem to be an apetite for 2 dramas on a Monday, more than any other day and I see the BBC have seen sense and decided to drop the BBC showings. The real test will be how Spooks holds up against ITV's bigger dramas.

Bouquet actually held up better than I thought maintaining last weeks audience, but Corrie looks a little low.

“Breakfast - 1.377 million/33.6%
Daybreak - 790,000/20.4%”

Yes - that won't be at all awkward for Kate Garraway and John Stapleton will it?!

At least Loose Women has been put into a suitable category this year after it somehow bagged the "factual" award last time.

Loose Women win time and time again because they beg for votes on every show and a few times per show. They could be in best serial drama and they'd still win.

Will Kate get to collect the award if GMTV win?

I'm quite annoyed that The Cube hasn't been nominated...

How embarrassing for ITV if GMT won. I hope no-one is thinking of tactical voting

I notice TAAHM wasn't on the list, maybe it was flat was last season?

Lone Star debuting weakly doesn't surprise me because of the subject matter, wonder if FOX will stick with it as they have Ridealong lined up for midseason.

According to them today, they have been moved from the best factual category to a new one - "Best Magazine style show".

I suppose that's fair as Loose Women isn't factual, I think they'll probably win as the competition isn't great/

I dont usually get that excited by a US show but "The Event" looks fantastic. Im very interested to see how it goes down over the sea.

It would be interesting to see the BBC Breakfast breakdowns for 6-8.30am and 8.30am-9.15am so a direct comparison can be made. I imagine that usually when getting 1m, 'Lorraine' is much closer to BBC Breakfast than Daybreak is.

I would have thought BBC did better post-0830 as they seem to get bigger names in their showbiz section.Anyhow most of the time I can't understand what Lorraine is saying, she mumbles and mutters. You get a better class of mumbling with Bill Turnbull

I wonder if the TV listings for 2nd October onwards will have an advisory for BBC1/BBC2 saying "If the Commonwealth Games do not go ahead, the following schedule will apply..."?
