Humax 9200 - Slow Down
Goober
19-09-2010
Hi, I have noticed over the last week that my Humax 9200 has slowed right down again. I have the latest firmware which seemed to cure the previous issues but seems to have reverted back. Anyone else experiencing recent sluggishness and any suggestions for cure?

Hi. Read my to-day's post on fast forward problems. May be the same issue.

Peter - just read, I think it is the same problem as yours, the FF is definitely struggling at the moment. Wonder if there are others experiencing this?

Hi Goober
See Martin's response to my earlier post. Might be file corruption.

Is there anything we do?

Don't think so at this stage. Just wait and see. If it becomes a major issue then perhaps a reformat may be in order. This will cause you to lose all your recordings but may correct possible file corruption. Best of luck.

A bit embarrassing but I changed the battery in the remote and it is completely sorted.

Don't be embarrassed. This is just the sort of tip which helps others.

Just goes to show all problems aren't "Doomsday" scenarios.
