Ooh.
Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with mushrooms on toast. Soft boiled egg and soldiers Always with a cup of tea. ![]() Occasionally a fried breakfast - sausage, hash brown, fried bread, fried tomato, and some baked beans (not too bothered about the bacon), but only very occasionally! |

1 good quality pork sausage
2 or 3 rashers, depending on size, streaky bacon - cooked to a crisp Fried egg - runny yolk Hash brown Button mushrooms cooked in a little bit of butter Black pudding 2 grilled tomatoes Fried bread With loads of tea to wash it down Totally healthy and calorie free, of course . This is why I only have it once in a blue moon. But when I do, I'm in heaven.

The breakfasts I've always enjoyed the most have been the ones on our American road trips, when I've had pancakes and Canadian bacon and maple syrup and constant refills of coffee, in a small town diner somewhere by the sea.

Right this going to be my greediest post ever.
My ideal breakfast, if I had a limitless appetite, would be: Poached eggs Scrambled egg Fried bread Top quality sausages OR bacon (don't like the two together) Mushrooms Croissant French toast with maple syrup and bacon Pancakes With some freshly squeeze OJ, or some cloudy apple juice. Oh and a sweet hot mug of tea.

I'm going down the greedy route too Parthy... here goes:
To start: Croissant and a pain au chocolat To follow: 2 sausages 3 rashers of bacon, crispy 2 fried eggs, over easy Sauteed mushrooms, lots Hash browns 2 slices of thick white toast, allowed to cool, with lashings of butter A large mug of tea I have put on half a stone just thinking about that. ![]() Haven't had a fried breakfast (or French pastries) in a loooong time though, maybe I will treat myself during my Christmas break!

And as long as the KitKat is chunky (ooh dear, that does sound odd). I have to say I am impressed with your culinary skills. No burning sausage rolls today! |
