Can HDR Fox T2 downscale for USB output?

Hi,

I see that, although it is possible to transfer recorded programmes to USB storage devices from the HDR Fox T2's hard drive, there can be copyright restrictions governing the transfer of HD content to USB devices.

My question is: is the Fox T2 capable of downscaling from an HD recording on its hard drive to output in SD at the USB port? If so, do the copyright restrictions still apply to the SD transfer of that content?

Obviously, I could just record in SD but the picture quality of a downscaled HD broadcast is so much better than that of original SD, so that I think it would be preferable to be able to use downscaled HD, if possible.

Anyone tried this?

Thanks

Could well be the answer to your question ...

and the response to limit the activities of content thieves...
