I have a problem. I dont know which dvd I should buy next. Im sitting here with a list of just under 200 and cant pick. The dvd shouldbe relitivly new as I dont want one that crops up in a revisitation. The dvds I already have are:
-An Unearthly Child -The Daleks -The Edge of Destruction -The Time Warrior -Robot -The Ark in Space -The Sontaran Experiment -Genesis of the Daleks -Revenge of the Cybermen -The Invaision of Time -The Two Doctors -Revelation of the Daleks -Rememberance of the Daleks -Silver Nemesis |

You have no Troughton (other than The Two Doctors) and no Davison!
Go for: 1. The Five Doctors: cos it's lovely, and it's got em all in 2. The War Games: excellent Troughton. 10eps, but it whizzes by 3. The Caves of Androzani: one of the all-time greats, showcasing Davison very well |

I've not paid any attention to Revisitations, so didn't spot Caves being rereleased.
The OP is missing stories from Drs 2 and 5. This should be remedied! |

The War Games it's such an epic story and although it’s 10 episodes long it really doesn’t drag at all and will leave craving me. Ok I lie a tiny bit because the last episode which introduces the Timelords is pretty rubbish and could have been done in 10 minutes instead of being dragged out for 25. But 9 griping episode really isn’t bad at all.

I would highly recommend getting some Troughton into your collection. (you wont regret it
)Tomb Of The Cybermen The War Games Are both excellent starters. |

Both are excellent, but I'd go for Seeds of Death before Tomb of the Cybermen. Only a personal chocie though. Both are top-drawer DW. You really ought to have some Troughton on your shelf.
![]() For some reason I always forget about Seeds Of Death, dont know why as it is a corker. (Maybe I always mix it up with Seeds Of Doom) Tough call on which one I'd go for though, probably 'Tomb' just pips it for me as I like the single setting throughout 'play' type feel to it. That said Seeds Of Death does have that lovely bubble bath group orgy type thing at the end. ![]()

Another good thing about Tomb..... is that the commentary is a great double act from Frazer Hines and Deborah Watling
I would also recommend the William Hartnell story The Time Meddler |
