The Royal and Derngate theatre in Northampton has posted that following his accident "Ray will be well enough to perform in all scheduled shows of Jack and the Beanstalk". Pleased that he is recovering well and will be able to be back on stage for the pantomime season.

Broke his collarbone when he came off his bike - I'm assuming that's motorbike.

He was knocked off his motorbike by a car driver who pulled out of a sideroad without seeing him. Totally not his fault and fortunately was only doing a very slow speed. He injured his ankle and broke his collarbone. This happened about three weeks ago and he has undergone an operation to insert a titanium plate in his shoulder to speed recovery last week. He will be fit to do the panto though, as has been confirmed by the theatre in Northampton.

Good news about Ray making a speedy recovery, I hope there are no long term effect for him that could have an impact on his career

Quite a good few pantos to choose from there.

Been asked to a lot of pantos this year where I know people that are either working in the shows or behind the scenes. None of the listed ones though.

Thinking about the Glasgow one though as John Barrowman along with the Krankies has gotta be worth seeing.

a professional 'pain in the arse' I've heard.........I also heard she was doing the sister show for DOI, but personally I don't think she's photogenic enough for primetime weekend programming......who knows why someone made that call

hmm I heard it was for the ITV2 show....... like the Xtra Factor......blog extract seems to be a bit vague but I'd guess that it will be for more than just the website.

'I am going to be backstage reporter for Dancing On Ice 2011 for ITV.com – giving you all the goss each week – I can’t wait…it is such an exciting and new project for me….'

Went to the panto in Northampton with Ray Quinn and he announced his engagement to fellow West End star Emma Stephens to the audience. (She was there every week during his time on DOI). They are starring together in the show. Apparently he proposed on Christmas Day. Congratulations to them both!

Ray seemed fully fit again after his motorbike accident and the panto was highly entertaining!
