The Independent On Sunday website has an article on Osteoporosis and Nikki features. She is profiled as a sufferer, interesting that as well as her anorexia one of the other causes (listed in the article) is smoking and she admits she used to smoke 20 a day in her teens... - its a very interesting article well worth reading and for the Independent to feature Nikki is quite something but then she is a prominent speaker and campaigner on the subject. I don't read the paper so no idea if the article is in it, if anyone does i am sure they will let us know. By the way the more pictures button under the pic of Nikki doesn't actually lead to anymore pics it just blows up that pic very large indeed

Just heard Nikki was on BBC Breakfast this morning, Sue just told me she did an excellent interview.

thanks barra they are old events in 2008, have some brilliant pics of her at Celebrity Nose of the Year award on the website and the other one I cant remember but have pics. People putting candids on ebay will be better off putting them up straight away and not waiting 3 years

damn LOL i had BBC breakfast on this morning just for a bit before i went out to work, (i have it on everymorning) bet i just missed her! Breakfast isnt on I-player i just checked - hope we get to see it I wonder if it was more about Osteoporosis?

Nikki was out Sat night at Barhouse to see Caral Barat, she is still on crutches but didnt get any sympathy off the two tweets i read - if you have seen them you know why i cant post them!

what happened to nikki's music ambition, has that now taken a backseat?

not really taken a back seat, just that she has been on crutches for the last 4 weeks from an operation on her foot, I am sure she would love to get out and do more accoustic sets and djing

Suffice to say i dont think there is a Hot Stars this week, i say think as i havent actually read OK! as its one of those shrink wrapped weeks with extra mags when they never have hot stars, it also had the most appalling cover story of a certain BB11 couples gypsy style wedding - so glad i didnt have to buy it!


anyway on a quiet day i have still managed to find something to post - even though its got nothing to do with Nikki - she still gets a mention from Holy Moly (!) shows how much of an impression she has made on them lol - have a look at this, though i am not sure what Nikki would make of this kind of comparison with her mate Nicola Stapleton !

Nikki has tweeted asking where does she get a visa from to go to the us, i did some googling and it doesnt appear that she needs one just for a holiday?, i have sent her a link i found, if anyone knows different or better let her know!

I messaged her the link of the official site of the US Embassy in London, she doesn't need one as a UK citizen she qualify's for thge Visa Waiver Program.

That’s what I thought too so didn’t apply for a visa. We were told by our travel agents that we had to apply on https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/ before we went to New York and the Caribbean in December.

The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) are now subject to enhanced security requirements but the visa didn’t cost very much and didn’t take long to obtain. Done on the internet it only took three days if I remember correctly and although you don't need to I printed a copy off and took it with me. Never needed it though.
