Don't know if Nikki knew forum member littlemunchkin (Lucy Taylor) who also did fundraising for Beat, but who sadly died recently. She did not post on the BB forum but on other parts of digitalspy, and died a couple of weeks ago of anorexia at the age of 24. I thought they may have come across each other as Beat is a small charity.

thanks barra cant get itv player anymore because I havn't renewed my proxy, so will rely only what I can get on torrents and youtube this year.

I can get the show thru the torrents and it is downloading slowly. Have been busy lately and haven't kept up with the news but Nikki and her mum are still coming to Sydney on January 26th Australia Day.

Surprised to see Natalie Cassidy in CBB, haven't watched that yet but will watch this season. Hopefully Nikki will be on BBBOTS showing her some support as they are good friends.

That is so sad, Nikki may have known her, she hasn't mentioned it and I haven't asked. Because Nikki knew a lot of anorexia suffers who have lost their battle over the years. She is still friends with some that were with her in the institutions one being her best friend Carly Cunningham who is also a recovered anorexic.

Beat is not a small organisation and runs workshops and dropin centres all over the UK. And has many affiliations with other organisations worldwide. Nikki mainly raises money for Beat through another organisation called Body Gossip. Lucy may have been involved with Body Gossip as writing about your experience is good therapy and is approved by Beat.

Nikki's book will be published on 7th May 2012 through John Blake publishing. Its not on their website yet but is listed at Amazon.

Thanks, so Nikki was wrong when she said it was out this month? I noticed that Amazon quote it as a paperback with 288 pages - thats less then the existing version which has 312 Odd, i thought it would be longer, unless they are using a smaller typeface

Nikki has been supporting Natalie on Twitter, i hope she gets an invite to BBBOTS too

It's listed with little information at the moment and it does not yet appear on the John Blake website. So I think only the publishing date will be right May 7th. Need to check back when all the details are out. Looks like Nikki could have another combined birthday party/book launch for her 30th.

being as its her 30th, i am sure she will have a big party anyway
