Yes Nikki is cutting it close to the book launch, but she is a perfectionist and the new book even though an update of Dying to be Thin should be a good read bringing us up to date with Nikki's story to present day
We have lots of spiders in Australia, large Huntsman and Wolfe Spiders often come inside after long rainy periods
I like seeing them because when they are about you have no flies and I would rather see spiders about then the Aussie bush fly in large numbers
The paper cup method is a good one I just entice them onto a piece of paper or the back of my hand or arm if they are the harmless long legged variety and put them outside.
