Olympus DM-450

Hi guys,

I'm having trouble with my Olympus DM-450. I don't know how to charge the thing. I've connected it to the computer but no luck. I've read the instructions but they're not very good.

It keeps saying says "Remote (Storage)". I don't think it's charging because I have been charging it for hours, yet I still have to connect it to the computer just to get it on. Aargh!

Hi,

Plug the USB cable into your PC, or a mains adaptor, Whilst you hold down the "stop" button on the side of the recorder, plug the small end of the USB into the voice recorder. Keep the button depressed until the word "charging" appears at the top of the display. I had the exact same problem and it's worked for me. Good luck!

Oh just seen this. Thanks for your reply, got it all up and running now!

Anyone know how to connect it to a PC so I can take the files off it? I have tried two cables thus far but nothing appears on screen. I've tried pressing stop like to charge it, I've tried using the programme etc but nothing!

Sorry, only just seen this! I've never had any problems connecting to my Mac, so can't help you.
