What's your favourite toasty sandwich?
Were talking Breville here.
I'm currently into corned beef and potato with a splash of mint sauce, but need some inspiration. So what’s your favourite? |

The best thing i've ever EVER had to eat was due to a Toastie machine. Me and my friend came home drunk one night about 10 years ago, and decided to make creamy garlic mushrooms and shove them in a toastie. Amazing!! I've tried to recreate it but it's never been the same (I do indeed firmly believe alcohol was why it tasted so good, but it did).
Other than that, tuna and mozerella! |

Ham and egg. Just crack it straight in there, and the heat just seems to steam them through. Will take you a few gos to get it so the yolk is still a bit runny, if that's how you like them though.

Can't beat the simple classics, grilled cheese with oodles of pepper, or a tuna melt. *Salivates*
Not keen on toasty makers, makes the crusts a bit unappetising. Lightly grease a frying pan and toast the sammidge over a low on heat on either side (works better for me). |

The classic, cheesey beans with sausages.
I've also been known to use up left-over Bolognese in them too, even better if you shave some Parmesan in there too. |

Tuna and Cheese, or Sweet Chilli Chicken, Peppers and Cheese.
A REALLY quick and amazing toastie I like though is my lazy Quesadilla's that I make in a pan, you just toast one side of a wrap for about 90 seconds, then flip it overput some cheese and onions in, keep toasting til the cheese is melting, then fold in half. Keep toasting for a minute, flip it and toast for another minute and it's ready. It's so tasty and the wrap goes nice and crispy. |

Love the classic cheese & onion. When I used to work in the pub we were quite often asked for mince toasties, which are apparently lovely. Sounds okay in theory, but think it'd be a bit soggy for me!
Much prefer a panini these days though, it has to be mozarella, pesto & tomato. |

Mine is parma ham, pesto, few leaves of fresh basil and mozzarella. Alternatively, I quite like a spicy potato filling that my mum makes...cheese and marmite is also pretty good.
