Gavin's clip is out!
I just watched his training clip on bbc site. Quite suprised cuz I thought he'd be worst! I want him to win because he is lush and endearingly shy and great eye candy for every fri and sat!

Probably filmed by the same person that did Matt's!
![]() Glad to see Katya is working on keeping his shoulders down right from the start. He doesn't look too bad so far though. |

Gavin looks better than in the group dance, and like Paul, he seems to be starting from absolute zero, so its going to take a while.
I think the Cha Cha Cha might have been easier for him, as he has to learn a lot of partnering skill as well in the Waltz, and they have been given less time to learn this year, which is hardest on the total beginners. |

Thanks Maz1111 for pointing me to the clip.
Gavin's 'scrummy' alright lol. I think nerves might be a battle for him but he's a trooper from what I've seen of him in 71degrees North. Such determination and very impressive stamina wise. I think he's learning well and he'll be a good watch for me ![]() I do like his voice. Makes me smile. |

How can you judge anything from that stupid clip when you could not see their feet and why was it so dark

Katya was wonderfully patient and looks to be a fantastic teacher. And I was quite surprised at the progress Gavin seemed to be making, especially compared to his efforts in the group dance!

I agree Saz - I became quite a fan of Katya's last year, she was excellent with Tuffers and she seems to be doing a good job with Gavin too. I don't mind him as much as I thought I would (although this could all change once the series kicks off properly!).
