Maybe River is the Doctor's wife, brainwashed into thinking she's an android?

Maybe she's a sleeper agent, programmed to kill the Doctor, triggered when Rory says the words "Well Amy and I wouldn't suck it".

Now I'm all in favour of keeping the profile of DW as high as possible, especially in the "down" months, I mean both JNT and RTD for all their alleged faults were consummately good at so doing, but...does anyone else feel that with the best part of a year (and a Christmas Special) to go, SM is starting to play on about this "explosive cliffhanger" just a little too much? If this carries on: how can it possibly live up to the pre-billing? Also, there is the small matter of the other 13 episodes that constitute Series 6/7...

Well, it's not as if the Morecambe & Wise specials were being handed over to Ant & Dec exactly.

It almost sounds like Moffat has heard a load of people surmise that River is an Auton and is effectively putting a stop that idea.

Like the idea that there are a collection of beings involved with the Silence. Whilst Daleks and Cybermen seem to be more effective on their own a group of more sinister beings could work really well.

I liked Daleks vs Cybermen but not on the same side. The poor Sontarans never got much chance to fight and they love a god fight, bless them

Ha. My stupid fast typing causes another mistake. Or maybe there are no mistakes and I just find angry potatoes attractive.
