What they've told you is cr*p. Anything from 24th June onwards is on the new capped rates, as per their website.

That rule also applies if you change your plan from now.

Dont know if its the way some peoples contracts are set out but I'm still on unlimited (FUP) not recieved any texts to say anything different and I started mine on the 7/8th June, I've had it confirmed twice now from aftersales and customer services that I wouldn't be affected by the hard cap, mine is set up as x amount for the contract + £5 for a unlimited internet use bolt on.

Thanks for the advice peeps.
Well finally after 3 phone calls to O2 and 2 shitty emails they have finally confirmed I will be keeping my unlimited allowance provided I don't change my call plan.
I am still confused as to whether the text I recieved was a mistake and there customer service people don't know what there talking about. Or whether they have changed there tune after my continuous complaining.
But I will be watching my bill very closely, and keeping copys of the emails they sent me

People should have known about this thats why I signed up to Simplicity 12 months...on the 23rd June. By doing this I have no data cap watsoever, which is unlimited internet proper.... Which is what you need with an iPhone.

OMG thanks for this! I am shocked! I cannot beleve how VF have been over this. Fortunately my contract is up next month, however i will of course now have to limit what i am doing from my phone. I just feel bad for those who were unaware that they could cancel their contracts. Had i been made aware of this in time i would have been out quick sharp!

Must admit I am very happy with Vodafones business data options. For £12.50 I get 5GB of data which is only a FUP. Have checked and will not be charged if I go over.
I used 5GB on Orange with the IPhone last month and they did not cap me or charge me extra. (old IPhone plan).
