Chuffing well love this song. Possibly the best thing they have done so far. It's possible they could get another number one, but, the general public's taste in music has deteriorated to the likes of shitty rap music about money, and using women as sexual objects. We need a good government hating song riding high in the charts
![]() Can't wait for the video and new album. |

![]() Can't wait for the video and new album. In terms of their other stuff it doesn't have the raw energy of Helena or I'm not ok (or the rest of three cheers for sweet revenge generally) or the (i've always assumed ironic) camp overstatment and bravado of The Black Parade. So, in conclusion, its fine but nothing I can get that excited over. |

Its ok, I guess, its certainly catchy enough but it doesn't really sound like an MCR song, it sounds to my ears like what might happen if McFly spent too long listening to Fall Out Boy, and thats not really a bad thing in my eyes I should point out

[quote=MJ_lives;44765481]Actually, I'm Not Okay is probably my favourite MCR song. QUOTE]
I agree. I think they have made their sound a little more radio friendly, and fair play to them. One thing that I always loved about MCR is that they have a brilliant sense of over statement and camp. (See the video for Helena). I think a lot of people would like to see them as this very serious emo/post hardcore band, but they have always been quite happy to be over the top and have a bit of a laugh at themselves. |

Was at the Edinburgh gig last night and heard a few more of the new tracks.
"Planetary (GO!)" is awesome and completely different from MCR - a real bouncy, electro tune that wouldn't out of place on the dancefloor if remixed that way. "Destrya" is just a mad, thrashy guitar punk tune; and "The Kids from Yesterday" is an anthemic pop tune with hints of Radio Ga-Ga and 80s synthpop! "NA NA NA" and "The Only Hope for Me Is You" have heard before but were brilliant live; can't wait to hear the rest of the album now!
