I wish freeview had either the box or smash hits, 4"music" and the other one which used to be TMF (i don't like it's new name) are rubbish most of the time

To me the majority of the channels are crap, but then again I don't like any of the music nowadays. I only listen to MTV Classic, VH1, Magic, The Vault and Bliss (although that's not as good as it used to be) cos they show classic music.

I usually catch a bit of Lava and Scuzz on a weekend, but that's about it.

I used to watch MTV2 way way back in the day, when it was just music videos.

I remember seeing MTV2 a year or two ago, I think it was mostly rock music when I saw it.

Almost all of the music channels on sky a few years back were good but now nearly all of them are crap appart from The Vault and sometimes MTV Classic & MTV Dance (Only by Night though).

Ironically, it's changed it's name to "MTV Rocks" now but features mainly dire indie music.

There used to be a show on MTV2 called "120 Minutes", which was 2 hours of relatively unknown, but great, music.

I discovered Bat For Lashes, Sigur Rós, LCD Soundsystem, CSS, Peaches amongst others. In fact, I discovered quite a few of my favourite acts on there. But, in traditional style for MTV now, they axed it. MTV is pretty much dying. It has no relevance any more.

The Box used to be good but not so much. They seemed to have stopped doing where you could ring or text in a request for a music video. That was cool

I like the music channels mainly for their shows. MTV are always doing their MTV LIVE half hour specials on artists like Diana, Pixie etc where they peform a few songs and discuss. I like 4 music's showings on reality shows and concerts.

I love Molten Lava on Lava TV as it plays some great heavy metal.

Clubland is usually always good to watch aswell.

Music channels are a load of phish well I find them a load of phish anyway. Never really play modern music that I like, in fact the only one that I do watch is VH1's 80's or 90's shuffle. Even then there is a degree of phish that I find myself turning over from. Thank god for Vidzone, although it could increase it's library and instead of just promoting Sony signed acts they could be a little more partisan and provide coverage to lesser known acts or at least have their videos up oooh I don't know say about not a year after it's release!
