I love his stuff - he's had a few mentions in the rare 60s thread.
This rocker is a classic: ![]() Jacques Dutronc - Le Responsable He's still going - I saw a poster when I was in France recently where he was second top billing to The Prodigy at some festival. |

Lovely -- the very tongue in cheek "j'aime les filles" and "Il est 5 heures, Paris s'eveille" evoking a city now gone.
Married Francoise Hardy, n'est-ce pas? Edit: just noticed this version of il est 5 heures. The clarity of the singing plus the well matched images of '68 have brought a new life to the song for me. V glad I found it. |
