Third Doctor with Pauline Fowler.
The brief glimpse in Dimensions in Time was not enough! |

Good topic!
For sheer comedy, how about a crossover with (early) Red Dwarf? I think any incarnation of the Doctor would have difficulty coping with that lot in the Tardis. Rincewind of Discworld with the 2nd Doctor would be interesting ![]() Susan Calvin of I, Robot (the book! there was no film, there was no film.....) would make a good companion. I'm not sure which doctor though- I'll go with 8 I think though I'm not sure why. |

I think the First Doctor could have done with the assistance of Mervyn Bunter.

Granny Weatherwax another one for the 1st. Nanny Ogg would have loved the 10th. |

Maia and Occula from Richard Adams' Beklan Empire books would be great companions. Maia would probably hit it off with the Second Doctor best, whereas Occula would have got on best with the Tenth.

After the Ash suggestion, I started thinking horror. If the Doctor could get Freddy Krueger or Jason Voorhees on side then he would be sorted. If Daleks had nightmares then Freddy would be in there. The Doctor could easily get Freddy on side by promising him a whole new universe of dreams to invade. Perfect.
And Jason, well it seems impossible to kill him, so just let him bring his machete and he would slice through Cybermen at a very impressive rate. Even the invisible chicken would be helpless. He would have been useless with the gas mask kid though, too many shared mother issues. |
