I have watched Michelle's training video and two things come to mind. Poor Brendan and....poor Brendan. I never thought I would say that. She is SO full of herself, I bet she is a nightmare!

From an ex dance teacher's point of view (picky, picky) I reckon Jimi, Pamela and Patsy have what it takes. They are all very 'centered' and move well. Jimi can do Latin naturally and it's a hard thing to teach so he's way ahead of the others.
Haven't seen Feliciity's video yet. I hope she manages to control her very odd mouth 'tics'. I expect her to be 'ballroom' rather than Latin, and reasonably good. Matt, Peter and Gavin look exactly as I would expect them to - long way to go boys I haven't watched Paul's or Peter's because I can't bring myself to do it, and I know what Ann will be like already ![]() This could be fun

I have only just watched that video and I couldn't agree with you more. She actually said "am I seducing you" to him. What a self opinionated person she is coming across as.
The Clash of the Egos - hurrahhh!

From the ones I've seen they all look decent enough, Jimi looks very good as does Pamela, Scott and Patsy. I think Goldie maybe the dark horse too. Oh and there's Ann
, well I just love her anyway

Peter's isn't up yet. You should watch Paul and Ann's just for amusement factor. Paul's was only first training session though, but he doesn't look entirely hopeless! And hopefully Ola can pull another great Foxtrot out of the bag for week 2 and he might surprise
![]() And as for Ann's, there are no words - she seems to be the boss! ![]() Nooooooo! Don't make me I can't watch Paul:I find him utterly repulsive. Poor Ola!I confess I did see a bit of Ann's and I thought she was very funny They are having a giggle and neither she nor Anton thinks they have a cat in hell's chance so I think they will just have fun for as long as it lasts ![]() Thanks for head's up about Peter

I've said before, her dynamic with Brendan reminds me a little bit of Kelly Brook's. She's not particularly impressed or awed of him, probably because she's spent most of her adult life around and working with dancers of his standard. Or better. It just remains to be seen if she'll knuckle down and dance as beautifully as Kelly did. Can't imagine she'll ever be popular though. |

Strange
I don't understand how people think Michelle is up herself and full of herself. Could you not tell that she was joking when she said "am i seducing you" - she was not being serious. She is very eccentric and silly, which is good! If everyone had the same characters the show would be rubbish.

I knew she was joking, I just didn't find her funny at all, I thought she just came across as rather silly and quite annoying (and i thought that from the launch show too). We'll have to see how she dances this weekend...

Yes, she's clearly joking when she asks if she's seducing Brendan. And I could be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure the dance terms she's using have been picked up from him- back basics and lock steps are pretty specific to Ballroom/ Latin dances, she wouldn't have learnt those terms doing jazz.

I appreciate that I am in a minority when mentioning her banter with Brendan. I do think though she will get on his nerves if she doesn't buckle down to work and backchats him all the time. You can't joke for ever, and I wonder how her "personality" will come across to some of the viewers.

It must be almost time for Mystic Lorelei to polish up that crystal ball and start making predictions!
Of the videos I've watched, my money would be on Jimi and Flavia for top scores, although I did think Jimi looked a little heavy in a few of his movements. Still, plenty of time to iron that out before the live shows. My dark horse is Goldie, who looks like he'd have a bit of potential if he'd stop mugging for the cameras. And I'm delighted that Paul might actually not be hopeless - less because I like him (I really don't) than because it's always nice to be confounded in these things. If I were going for a shock result I'd say Michelle out first week, but I rather like her so far. Biggest surprise is that Anton looked like he was actually having quite a good time with Ann

It's probably not up yet because Kara is not allowed to start training until Friday morning due to her having once watched someone waltz 10 years ago
![]() Thing is, she was absoutely bang on when she said she looked like a chicken in her dance with Ramps. Artem has very clearly got a lot of work to do with her! I may well go and sit in protest outside the Beeb, Or kidnap Artem at the very least.... |

Just watched Felicity's training vid, and as much as I wanted her to be really good, I'm a bit worried.....don't know when the footage was from though. Plus she's doing cha cha first week...

Just watched Felicity too, she doesn't seem to be enjoying it much. The thing that we don't know (or maybe I've missed it
) are when the vids were recorded - were they all recorded in the first few days then released one by one or is that actually Felicity with a few days to go, in which case I'd be very worried ![]() The others all seem to have some degree of natural flair Matt definitely looked like he will be pretty good. Goldie looked hard work I thought he seemed hyper! Ann & Anton - well, the height difference between them is so huge, how will they do the tango etc when they do those sharp head turns to face each other she will just be staring into his midriff, and he into the middle distance

Whereas Jimi & Flavia's was shown at the same time and it was from quite a few days into their training.... |

Can't be sure how good she is from the clip but I think she can definitely dance and with LOL (and votes) from her many fans will probably last a long time in the competition anyway. |

Also just seen it. Declaring an interest, Felicity is my preferred winner. It looked a bit of a struggle but I think that as a long standing professional thespian she is concerned to get it right and worried if she doesn't, so is more self-critical than some. I think her best Latin dance would be the rumba, if she gets the chance to do it.
