Nice article on Peter Shilton here - sounds like he's taking it seriously!

Wasn't he in that dance for Comic Relief thing, doing Men in Black. He couldn't even walk in time to the music - bless!

I agree with him, he hasn't danced a step yet so of course he has an outside chance. They all do

Apparently he used to do ballroom dancing training as a teenager to help with his football training. Maybe this is what he is referring to?

They all seem to have had training in the past. Why has Kara been penalised?

They all have a chance until their eliminated. Would anyone have picked Chris Hollins as a winner at the start of the last series? Thats whats so good about Strictly. Literally any of them could win.

Yep, I remember quite a few people being all 'Oh what a shame Ola gets the duffer again!' (me included ). I think there was a thread about it.........and then came that tango and rhumba.......doh!

Peter Shilton has no chance whatsoever.

In fact I say he was a dead cert to go out first.

No personality.
No interested fan base.
No talent.

That's a bit harsh on all counts, but in regards to fanbase I wouldn't count on it being that small he was England goalkeeper for years and lots of people will know of him, remember him and like him.

He may be very unlikely to win but unless he is truly dreadful it's probably unlikely that he'll go out first, particularly as he has Erin who also has her fair share of fans.

I am only watching it for Shilts - met him a few times when he was Plymouths manager and I was chairperson of the supporters club.

Anyone who can walk into a pub to meet the supporters after a crushing defeat by Brentford has a certain type of courage IMO, oh yeah and I got a kiss (only a peck on the cheek no NOTW type revelation sorry)

But he is a very nice bloke ( and has a great bum I used to stand behind the goal when he played )

He won't win but he's a sportsman so it won't be for the lack of trying. I see him as another Schmicheal as to whom will be out first who knows as to who will win that's between a few people too this year I reckon - could be Matt, Jimi, Scott or maybe even Felicity but there's a few who wouldn't surprise me like Goldie.

Totally irrelevant to SCD I know - but how can one resist?

Apparently the Anfield terraces echoed to "Who is Tina, where is she?"

The old ones are still the best (jokes I mean)!

I think Peter could be heading for an early bath!

Does anyone have a link to Peter doing Comic Relief?
