Perhaps it's a story about the Time War, and maybe she gets killed horribly and the Doctor has to watch.

Holy shit. I mean really.
To The Death is the darkest Doctor Who story ever. Ever. It's so bleak, I dunno if they should have gone that far, because I dunno how the 8th Doctor ever comes back from this. Don't expect a happy ending. You ain't getting one. |

Yeah, that was just wonderful... My cat got put down on Tuesday, I was a total wreck and still am. So I listened to cheer me up. Wow, that never worked.
Good episode, but that was bloody dark and very depressing. |

No I do not have a link, I paid for the damn thing. Well the link is www.bigfinish.com I guess
There's now suggestions that this is the last 8th Doctor story chronologically and any future ones will be set before it. Which is a cheery thought!

I just assumed that would be what happens now. Assumed it since they announced it would be the last series. Not sure why really. 8th Doctor will always be my hero though.

(I'll just recycle this thread, instead of starting another one for people to ignore
)I thought that was rather good. When they said loads of people had died at the beginning, I was expecting someone to go and reverse the timeline but they didn't for a change. Mind you, without sounding like a total wimp, did anyone else think the final scene was a bit, well, ![]() ![]() (It was enough to put anyone off broken Doctor jokes for the rest of the week! ![]() )

The end part of that episode was heartbreaking!
River Song is full of shit, “He'll rise higher than ever before, and then fall so much further."?? Not as far as he fell on that day. Lucie Bleeding Miller. Put that into the tv series and then we would see some real emotion. |

Put that into the tv series and then we would see some real emotion. I can honestly think of quite a few times there's been more 'falling' involved than last week! Okay if nothing else then what about when he destroyed all the Time Lords etc?
