I recorded a number of programmes on my Panasonic 850 from Freesat when I was on holiday.
This Secret Britain programme was transmitted on the HD channel at 01.00 on Tuesday 31st August.On playback after about ten seconds the picture freezes then continues for about 5 seconds and freezes again.The time counter freezes at the same time.It would be akin to starting the recording manually and pausing the recording before starting again.The freeeze lasts about four seconds in each case.
Has anyone experienced such a glitch before or can throw any light as to what has caused this.
I have ruled out weather conditions as the weather at the time was fine.

I recorded the same prog on a Humax HDR, had the same freezes at the start. Also one more twitch close to the end.
I agree, don't think it was weather related most likely down to one of the many bits of kit between playout server and sat uplink. Did anybody see it on Freeview?

Could be related to this issue?
