I've got a digihome dtr80 running 12.8. Is the only difference between this firmware and 13.0 that you lose the gemstar epg features? I've held off upgrading but wanted to see if 13.0 might be a forward rather than a backward step.
Differences between 12.8 and 13.0?
If you have no serious problems with 12.8, then I'd recommend not upgrading for now. A case of it it ain't broke, don't fix it 
. In another thread, somebody has reported that the gemstar features are gone in 12.8 already too, although maybe there are different 12.8 builds. I really don't know the differences between 12.8 and 13.0, except that it took some months to make those changes and that those changes have meant that 13.0 doesn't necessarily work quite so good as 12.8 for some users.
