Anyone ever had a Graze box delivered? WWW.graze.com

I only recently heard about them (probably a bit behind the times) and have had 2 boxes so far. Bit hit and miss but I think if you keep on rating things the selection will become more tailored and its good to give the different things a try.

I think I'm a bit addicted to the surprise brightening up my Monday morning at work

Just wondered if anyone else had tried them or would like to.

I thought the portions were a bit small for the price but the food was quite nice.
I got one free box and the next for half price then I kicked it into touch.

It is a good idea though.

I have an enormous issue with the ridiculous waste of packaging that these stupid boxes have. There are a number of people in my office who have them delivered and it makes my blood boil.

Sorry for the rant.

I am a little bit confused as to what purpose they serve ?
Can someone enlighten me, please ? Is it some kind of lunchbox ?

not really I wouldn't class it as a meal that would fill a hole.

It's different natural foods. The one we had this week had orange and green raisins in, all plump and juicy.

the Fresh fruit is the freshest i've tasted.

Saturday is Graze box day for me

I've been having a Graze box delivered fortnightly for the last 6 months. I used to have a "fruit" box which meant that 2 of the punnets were of fruit but they recently emailed me to say they're having difficulty in getting fruit of sufficient quality so are sending me their non-fruit boxes instead with 20% off the price of the next 5. It's very important to "rate" their foods on their website - for example, I can't stand olives and so I've "binned" all of their punnets containing olives. Initially I used to have the boxes delivered to work but now I have them delivered home and they become my main evening meal when they arrive.

Okay, convert me , because I still cannot for the life of me see the purpose.

I always have loads of fresh nuts, various seeds and dried fruits in large jars in my store cupboard, fresh seasonal fruit in a basket.
I can make my own 'Graze Box' every day of the week, for a fraction of the prize, which I actually do - but I just grab a few out of a jar and pop'em straight into my mouth.

I'm actually going to try this for a few reasons.

1. Laziness maybe.

2. I want to make sure I eat more healthy snacks - this might be a good incentive

3. Even though I generally have a lot of fresh fruit etc in the house for the kids, it would be nice to have the variety and something different

4. I'm more likely to eat the lot considering the package and pricing. I know it seems cheap, but we all know that if we bought the ingredients and made our own boxes we'd get a lot more for the money

I can see how it would seem lazy, I guess I like the variety of things you get. If I buy dried fruits etc I find I get bored of the combination quite quickly. The flapjacks I had were great and the focaccia looks yum. Do agree the portions could be slightly larger.

I believe the packaging is all recycled or recyclable so probably no worse than buying a selection from the supermarket.

I used to get them delivered once a week. For me, they were a great way of trying out things I'd never normally buy.

It can mean sometimes ending up with something you don't like, but you can always update your likes and dislikes on the website. So, after a while you'll end up only getting things delivered that you like!

I would recommend giving them a go!

Well I've just ordered since first box is free and second half price Was interesting seeing the varieties of mixes you can get.
Stuck to one box per week for now and if it encourages me to try things I wouldn't normally buy that are healthy and good for me, then its done its job!

I never said it seems lazy. It probably isn't targetted at people like me, who have a good stack of various dried fruits and nuts always in the store cupboard.
I 'graze' through them daily

As it is part of my daily diet, it would be extremely expensive - for me - to order the Graze Box.

In all fairness I didn't actually CALL anyone lazy

I've ordered one though anyway and thank you to the OP for raising the subject. I had seen a link in the past and wanted to try but as usual my peanut size brain let me forget

Am looking forward to Thursday to see whats in my box and will let you know!

It is worse, you would never buy such small amounts in the supermarket, and you wouldn't package it in a small box. And just because packaging is recyclable doesn't mean it will be recycled. Save money and resources and buy yourself the things in larger amounts from the supermarket.

So my first box has arrived today.

Portion sizes are pretty small although when you look at how much it would cost to buy from health food stores & supermarkets, you get good for your money.

Packaging - I like how its 80% recycled and also recyclable.

I got in mine -
cherry tomato, basil and Puglian pesto focaccia - will try this tomorrow
korean chilli rice crackers - bloody gorgeous!
fiery seeds - kinda boring but I guess I will nibble away on them which is the point of the exercise
salsa tossed cashews - these are yummy!

Overall I'm pleased with my box - can't complain since the first one was free!
My diet started today, so I'm hoping this will curb my bingey eating habits.

I got my first box, I liked the packaging although it must be quite expensive to produce even though it's recycled.

Mine contained:

Great Fire Dragon - Tasty but a potential tooth breaker

Savoury roasted seeds - Nice but a tad boring

American nut mix - Lots of brazils, pecans and almonds

Luscious lemon raisins - Surprisingly very tasty

Overall I'm pleased and it's good to keep on the desk for nibbles.

I used to love my graze box but i'm self employed and mobile so I had to pop home to get it, some days the post wasn't turning up til gone 3pm so I cancelled them

Their pistachios and cashews are the best i've had, also the pineapple is really good and those little chocolate drops.
