BBC iPlayer - Screen Resolution Correct?
Just tried to watch the BBC4 Kenneth MacMillan programme, but there's a resolution issue.
It seems a natural resolution when played using Firefox, but when downloaded and played using Windows Media Player, the resolution is wrong - faces look elongated and dancers look stick thin! It looks as if a wide screen image is being compressed into a 4:3 size! Is this normal? - I can't see any facility in Windows Media Player to correct it, so it must be a BBC problem?!? The image link is for a screen photo - screen capture didn't work with Windows Media Player - hence the poor quality, but it does clearly show the problem Image - BBC iPlayer - Firefox v Windows Media Player.jpg Mel |
