Switched on the humax and after some time the only thing showing on the tv guide with names of programmes was the one channel showning on tv.
Carried out a new search for channels and it found (roughly) 80 tv and 20 radio.
There are no names of programmes at all on the tv guide, only the name of the station e.g. BBC1, BBC2, on the left hand side. I can watch every programme by using the up or down channel button.
I had a new ariel 6 months ago but signal strength is showing 20% and quality varies betwen 0% - 70%. Never had this problem when the new ariel was fitted.

There's gotta be something the matter with your aerial/downlead/connectors. What's the reception like using the TV's own tuner, connected through the Humax? Is the TV analogue or digital?

I've been checking up on the transmitter, Emley Moor, and they are doing some work on it this week. They say - liable to interruption. Will have to keep checking each day.
I checked before and it said work will end on 24th.
It is BBC only that has pixels in the picture, ITV programmes are OK.
