As a fan of Rebecca Creighton, I thought I'd make a thread dedicated to her group. The name is "Beautiful Friend" in French.

Thank God Louis isn't mentoring the groups this year or they'd be screwed. Simon should mentor them well.

I can't wait to see how they do! Apparently they knew each other before being put together so the chemistry might come naturally.

Great! I'm glad that there's another fan already.

I hope they push for a girl-group to make at least the final 5 this year. Husstle seem to chavvy and desperate for me and the GBP to back them and the new boyband seem quite dull but that's probably because I don't like Liam as a singer.

Hopefully Belle Amie make the final 12. They've got the coolest name out of the final 8 groups (maybe on par with Princes & Rogues ). FYD is like a copy of JLS.

Do you think they should have a lead singer or not? I think Rebecca would make a great one but I haven't heard any of the others sing. They need to look like a group and work on blending their voices together.

I don't think they need a lead ala Phoebe in Hope, but Sophia certainly has the voice, probably the best one out of them IMO, but I do think Belle Amie, should they make the live shows, most definitely have the potential to make it past the first week haha, and hopefully into the final..

Saying that, this time last year I said Kandy Rainw ould make the final.

I'm probably guilty of blind optimism regarding KR too.

I thought that Miss Frank could have gone all the way to the top 5. I was wrong.

Hopefully Simon focuses on the girl-group instead of doing a Louis.

Kandy Rain should have done better than they did, and if they had Simon as a mentor then they'd hasve been better, more Gaga I think less Addicted To friggin Love.

I really think that if they make the live shows, Belle Amie could be amazing. They have a sophisticiation and air of class about them.

I have a sneaking suspicion Simon wants them to win this year. Am definitely a fan, and I think they'll suprise a lot of people because we havent even heard them sing together yet...

I'm so proud of them!

They actually looked and sounded like a group. They've already got that chemistry which is great.

Also, it's nice that they made an effort and spent a week in France together!

'Faith' was brilliant. Geneva stood out in that performance.

They were sensational. I can't help but think that they have a decent shot if they make the lives.

The thing is, I don't think that they'll be put on early if they are through to the final 12. I'm positive that there will be two boybands and a girlband unlike the past two years where there have been two girlbands and a boyband. Surely they wouldn't have Belle Amie on early and then the two boybands on later. They will most probably perform in the middle...if they are through.

If they get through, they'll be on near the end I think, I can already see Simon trying to make them more female friendly, and sing something 'quirky'. I'm really excited for tonight.

Did anyone watch the Xtra Factor, did they sing another song?

Yeah I agree with you. He was pretty good at mentoring Hope..well...better than Louis could ever do.

I watched it but I think they just showed a repeat of 'Faith'.

What song suggestions do you have for Belle Amie if they make the final 12?

Here's mine (of the top of my head):

Touch (Natasha Bedingfield)
Candyman (Christina Aguilera)
Whataya Want From Me - acoustic version (Adam Lambert)
Sex on Fire (Kings of Leon)
Smiley Faces (Gnarls Barkley)
Airplanes/Love the Way You Lie (Hayley Williams/Rihanna mash-up)
Thank You (Dido)
I wide range of songs there. The Adam Lambert suggestion is a rip-off from Mahogany's performance on XF:Australia (Youtube it <3).

I think the mash-up could work. They could either just sing the choruses with improvisation and newly written lyrics or Geneva could half sing/half rap the rap.

I think 'Thank You' would be great too.

I get the feeling it is if you take the first 'i' out. They are following Treyc so I can see it being real.

I love the 'Broken Strings' suggestion. That would be brilliant imo.

I think 'Fever' is a really original choice for XF and would be a great Big Band choice.

I think 'Bad Romance' is a sort of song that should be left alone cos it's quite iconic and only GaGa can really perform it - it even references her.

I'd like them to sing 'Irreplaceable' as well. The attitude in that song is hot!

BR was an awful choice to be fair :P I really like the fact everyone thinks they'll go first if they make it through, it just makes it better knowing that they'll suprise everone <3

Yeah I really think they'll get into the top 6 at least.

I haven't read the spoilers but I'd make an educated guess that an Over 28 will go out first. It's just such a tragic category. The best is probably Mary and I can't connect with her. Louis always has the category where one goes out first (well, the past two years ).

Belle Amie and 1 Direction have done so well. So proud of them.

I agree. Belle Amie, Aiden and 1Direction are my faves, which is suprising as it's usually a 16-24 girl that is my fave haha. Really excited for tonight.

My faves are Belle Amie, 1 Direction, Cher, Katie (she's letting me down though) and Treyc (I've seen your thread title ).

I get the feeling that a group will win. Most probably 1 Direction but I can see Belle Amie going top 6, as i've already said.

Cher is screaming 4th place - the favourite for the past two years has finished in 4th place (Diana, Danyl).

And remember the 5th week shock female exit (Maria, Laura, Lucie). I think Katie will get that if she's through.
