Unlike Louis I think Simon gives each of his acts a chance to succeed whuich is why I like the fact Simon has the groups this year after all the last time he had them he did pretty well getting Hope all the way to the final 5 despite their weakmesses and Same Difference who I also loved that year who were favourites to go out early all the way to the final so he clearly treats his acts fairly can't say he does with the acts that aer not under his mentorship though

Agreed. It's a good idea to go down the indie route. Girl voters won't find BA too threatening then because they won't be using their sex appeal.

they didn't say who's it was just a song called airplanes and believe me that's what I though t at first when I looked it up but it may not be this one it may be another song called airplanes we'll have to wait and see and I think my source wishes t remain anonymous so I'll respect that

I'm assuming it will be an Airplanes mash up. I can't imagine them doing the rap verses. I would LOVE it if they did an Airplanes/Love the way you lie (Eminem ft Rihanna) mash up. I've seen it done a few times and think it would work out amazingly for the girls.

That's exactly what I said a week ago in the song suggestions thread.

'Airplanes'/'Run This Town' would also work because despite the verses being rap, they're still easy to sing. Plus the lyrics in each kinda complement each other.

neither do I I was just going by what my source told mebut as sugestedit could me a mixed up version of the song they did also tell me they were going to be using wind machines for the performance though but that like anything else can change

But...that wasn't good. Not the girls fault though. Simon's fault for choosing the song. The chorus is the only part that can be sung. Trying to change the rap into singing was bad.

I hope they get through to the next stage, because it wasn't their fault that they were given that song.

The song was too much for Esther to take on alone, the rapping should have been reduced or taken out all together. Hey I enjoyed it.

I personally don't think it was bad. I thought it was actually a solid performance. The start was off but it's difficult for a group to harmonize well right at the beginning of the performance. They need a few seconds to find it. After the start, the rest was brilliant. Esther really shone in that performance and Geneva was amazing as well. Rebecca (and Sophia) should have done more though.

agreed my tip for bottom 2 are Diva fever and Wagner at the moment their performabces we er just too comical
