Usually i'm pretty negative when it comes to my favourites on these shows but after watching it back I don't think it's as bad as some are saying. If the performance had been at a final it wouldn't have given them much hope but this was the first show and many of them were pretty rough tonight. Wagner, John and FYD (who I completely forgot about!) are all also in the danger zone I would think.

Like Stube said it was off in the beggining, maybe nerves I don't know. I thought that Esther had too much responsibility in the song which probably didn't help her nerves but I thought she overall did well considering she didn't enter as a rapper! And Geneva, well she was great - I can't help it deffinately my favourite.

One advantage of being a group is their are four members and that means four sets of family and friends voting!

I agree, but I'm unimpressed with Simon that he gave Esther lead. I don't mean this in a horrible way but she is easily the least strong vocalist. She was flat in the judges house, it should have been Rebecca or Geneva

Just thought I'd pop in and wish Belle Amie luck, I thought they were really good tonight, I hope they get through

Hey Dee Hope more people enjoyed it and voted.

Two things I didn't get tonight was some saying they need to gel as a group and change their style to glam up a bit more. I thought they looked and performed like a group tonight and I thought their clothes was a clever choice. All looking seriously attractive but relaxed, not to try hard like a lot of the girl bands have been in the past.

I voted for Belle Amie, Cher and Treyc last night.

Hopefully they are all through.

I think FYD will be in the bottom 3 due to being on 150 minutes before the lines opened. John doesn't have that pre-finals fanbase or that demographic (Mary will get the older generation vote) and Katie was unfortunately horrendous last night.

I think they will be the bottom 3 and that's not even taking into consideration Wagner.

Even if Belle Amie some how get into the vote-off, they still might stay for next week. I doubt that they will finish bottom.

Really nervous for tonight, hope the girls are safe.

Nerves = A couple more votes! Geneva seems very nervous, wonder if they hear the rumours.

Belle Amie are one of my favourite acts this year... they seem like genuinely lovely girls and I hope they manage to buck the trend of girl groups going out early.

I do think that if they are bottom three, they will be saved because I think the judges would really like a girlband to work this year for a change... but I'm going to keep positive.

It may have not been the best performance ever, but it's week one and they were only put together recently. They can develop into a really decent girl group given half the chance... they looked nice last night and they sang a popular song, so I hope that's enough to keep them safe from the bottom.

good luck belle amie. Hope they get through tonight. they seem like really sweet girls and they are all talented, I just don't think that performance showcased their talent.

I hope the girls somehow survive tonight.

I'm pretty much convinced that their going. I have a bad track record in semifinals for AI; seems to be the case here in X Factor....

So pleased they survived

I can't believe they weren't even in the bottom three. SO happy though!

I'm at uni so no TV, finding out they got through made my day!

WOO!

I knew that they wouldn't be in the bottom 3. Trust Stube in future. I did have a bit of pessimism in me during the results though but that's normal.

Can we stop this whole "they're definite goners" now then? It's really terrifying reading that every week, especially on the main forum. Let's believe in these girls and not become complacent.

Yesssssssssssss

For me, one of the biggest shocks. Not because they weren't in the bottom 3 talent-wise, just because I didn't think they were popular with girls (usually the ones who make up most of the vote).

But they deserve their place.

In a way the song choice didn't help at all - rapping etc
But in a way it did - people knew the song and is very popular amongst teens which I actually do thin kpicked up a lot of votes

Glad they got through because it's good to see them having a 2nd chance plus the nerves were understandable having been together for a very short period, their confidence should be growing now

Now I can ask this question...

What should they sing next week? Pretend the theme is nothing.

I'd like 'She Said' by Plan B or 'Numb' by Linkin' Park.

Right, I promise I won't be negative from now on I badly want hear them sing something like Thinking Of You by Katy Perry or Take A Bow by Rihanna.

Trying to think of good songs is so hard, you don't want them to be forgettable but also not too ambitious like airplanes. "She said" could be good, maybe with a bit of dancing, I don't know "Numb" i'll have to youtube it.

I ended up going through my ipod maybe: These words, What hurts the most, Broken hearted girl, Try sleeping with a broken heart, Can't fight the moonlight or Shiver.

I love Cant Fight The Moonlight for them!
